No. 2273/2010/G/Judn) No.VI(1)/201/2017. Whereas the Government of Tamil Nadu have issued orders in G.O.(Ms) No. 206, Home (Courts-III) Department, dated 3-3-2015 that a separate District Munsif Court be constituted at Vaniyambadi by converting the existing Additional District Munsif Court, Vaniyambadi and in G.O.(Ms) No. 302, Home (Courts-II) Department, dated 05-04-2017, that the existing Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Vaniyambadi be converted as separate Judicial Magistrate Court at Vaniyambadi. Hence, it is hereby informed that on and from the date on which the District Munsif Court and Judicial Magistrate Court at Vaniyambadi are constituted, the existing Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Vaniyambadi shall be re-designated as Judicial Magistrate Court, Vaniyambadi and the existing Additional District Munsif Court, Vaniyambadi shall be re-designated as District Munsif Court, Vaniyambadi.     Research Article Assessment of fluoride concentration in Palar River in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, India R. Pradeep Kumar1*, R. Priya1, Lakshmi Thangavelu2 ABSTRACT Back ground: River Palar is one of the most contaminated rivers of India due to various industries. Aim:To study the fluoride concentration in the Pallar river. Four river water samples were collected during the pre-monsoon season spanning over June 2015. Methodology: Fluoride levels were analyzed by standardized analytical method by the Chief Water Analyst, State Level Water Testing Laboratory, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai (ISO 9001–2000 - Certified). Result: In the present study, fluoride contents in all samples ranged between 0.18 and 0.22 mg/l, which are less than the optimum range of 1.5 mg/l, as recommended by the WHO. KEY WORDS: Fluoride, Palar River, Water quality INTRODUCTION of the global tanning factories are located in this state.     General Information In ancient times, the Vanigars (People who do business) have come down for settled in this town hence it was named in the beginning as “Vaniyarbadi” later on slowly renamed as Vaniyambadi. Vaniyambadi Town is situated on the bank of Palar River. The latitude is 17°.42 and longititude 78°.35. Extent of the town is 9.53 Sq. KM. The town is located at 351.21 Meters from Mean Sea level. Vaniyambadi Town is one of major Tanning Center in Vellore District Vaniyambadi Town is located along National Highways No.46 namely Madras to Bangalore Road. It is at a distance of 67 kms southwest of Vellore this town is well connected with adjacent towns Ambur, Vellore, Tirupattur, Krishnagiri. Vaniyambadi is Taluk Head Quarters. Leather tanning and leather articles manufacturing is the main commercial activities of this town. There are several tannering are situated in and around the Town. Palar River divides the town in to two parts. One great flood in the River Palar on 12th Nov 1903 washed away the town and on rehabilitation of the affected people. New town was formed. Out of this, Vaniyambadi Municipality has two Towns in the year 1904. The Special feature of this Municipality is, it has one separate park for Ladies. Infrastructure BusStand Agriculture The estates are the main places for the agricultural activities as far as this town is concerned. A considerable portion of tea is grown in the estates located around Vaniyambadi Town (4.20 Acres ) Transport The Tamil Nadu state Bus transport corporation is providing 90% of transport facilities to this town.
