Client Istanbul Cevahir Shopping and Entertainment Centre is a modern shopping mall located on the Büyükdere Avenue in the Şişli district of Istanbul, Turkey. Opened on 15 October 2005, Istanbul Cevahir was the largest shopping mall in Europe in terms of gross leasable area between 2005 and 2011, and is one of the largest in the world. Brief Focus Group:

The tendency to visit indoor Young families, especially women shopping malls increases during the who want to have a nice new year new year period due to the bad experience while doing shopping for weather condions. The main the new year, have children above purpose is to aract customers who the age of 5. have more potenal to do shopping.

Planned acvity should have a simple setup which also has a digital side.

It’s important to have an emoonal bond with the customer along with the funconal properes of a shopping mall. Brief – Key/Crical Points

Project – “Decorate Your New Year Tree” Project – Video

We created a video game which lets player to decorate her own new year tree with more than 60 ornaments divided into 4 categories.

Players could be able to choose one of 2 scenes which they want to decorate their tree in. One of the scenes was a Technical Features: garden full of snow and - Intuive interacon via tablet screen the other scene was a - Gesture and speed detecon cosy living room. - Fun gameplay - Animated cartoon characters - Augmented Reality ( Photo capture with the decorated tree ) - Real me social media integraon

Project – Social Media

Aer visitors finished decorang their tree, they got their photos taken with the tree as they decorated. The border of the printed photo has visitors name and logo of the brand.

These photos are published in a facebook applicaon which is located inside the facebook page of Cevahir Shopping Mall.

Then visitors could find their photos easily with the automacally generated number wrien on their photo prints.

Project – Result

During the one month long new year event: 3000 people played the game More than 3000 photos printed Facebook applicaon is visited 6500 mes 1000 visitors searched their photo in the Facebook app. 250 visitors shared their photos online.
