This volcanites are composed of large volumes of andesitic-dacitic lavas and pyroclastics with small volumes of alkali basalt to trachydacite lavas. In this study, 40Ar/39Ar age data of nine samples obtained from the Kulu-Karacada volcanites were presented. Obtained informations reveal the plato age of the volcanites. Results conforming to field observations point that the Kulu-Karacada volcanites are Early Miocene (18-21 Ma) in age. Key Words: Kulu-Karacada Volcanites, 40Ar/39Ar Geochronology. Abstract. Data security has become a major issue in recent years. It becomes a requirement to store the sensitive data with at least two backup systems in geographically distributed data centers in order to provide the security. In addition, there is a huge need for the computational power to analyze the big data generated through various high-throughput multiomics applications such as next-generation sequencing and mass spectrometry platforms. In this study, a geographically distributed asynchronous replication application and architecture, called LUNGBASE, based on the OpenStack Swift has been introduced. This study enables to replicate the data generated through the LUNGMARK project, a lung cancer molecular profiling study through bioinformatics-supported integrative multiomics analysis, carried out at the Molecular Oncology Laboratory of the TUBITAK-Marmara Research Center (MRC), Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Institute (GEBI), in different geographical regions. In this paper, we proposed an architecture and application model that can perform an effective file transfer operations and smart and automated data movement on distributed environment.

In this study, soil and water potential of Konya Basin, its use in agriculture and problems resulted from the agriculture and sustainability were analyzed with detail. Nowadays in such basin, some problems have observed about the sustainable agriculture, water resources and environmental sustainability issues. The reason is excess water uses in agriculture. Agriculture performed in the present form has led to the excess water uses in agriculture. The most important cause of excess water use is increase of the planting areas of highly water consumption crops and adding highly water consumption new crops to the crop pattern. In this study, it has estimated that irrigation areas in basin have increased by unplanned and senseless, available water potential of basin is insufficient for these areas and unavailable ground water potential of 1.4 billion m3 has extracted. In the other word, for irrigation areas, usable water resources are not enough. To solve the problems related to water and sustainable water resources; excess water uses from the basin resources should be stopped and only consumable water potential must be used. In addition, use of waste water and drainage water, developing crop varieties resisted to the drought and salinity conditions, establishment of new irrigation techniques and use of irrigation technologies that are highly efficient are necessarily prerequisite.
