They have however, continued to recognise the importance of supporting regional and community development and I would like to thank the State Government for providing funding to the RDA through the Regional Development Fund Stream 1 program of Primary Industries and Regions SA, to support our Small Business Advisory Service and Strategic Initiatives Project. I also commend the State Government, in particular Minister Brock Dr. Ruth and his Department of Primary Industries and Regions SA for their willingness to work cooperatively with the seven regional RDAs across Schubert South Australia, to negotiate a mechanism for the ongoing involvement CHAIR by the State Government in this important regional framework. Thank you also to Rob Kerin, Chair of Regional Development South Australia and the chairs and chief executive officers of the other regional report2013 - 2014 4 Chief Executive Officer Report 2013/14 has again been a busy and eventful year for Board members and staff and this report seeks to outline some of the activities and achievements undertaken throughout that period. I hope that the highlights contained herein provide an insight into the significant role the Board plays in facilitating economic and regional development across the Limestone Coast region. From a relatively modest funding base, the RDA continues to negotiate to attract additional funding to deliver other business and community development programs across the region, in partnership with various state and federal government agencies.
