USPA NEWS - 114th Midshipman Commissioning Parade was held at Naval Academy PNS Rahbar, Karachi.

The commissioning parade included 102 Pakistanis and 64 midshipmen from friendly countries. Chief of the Naval Staff, Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Addressing the function, the Chief of the Naval Staff highlighted the recent technological developments in the and the inclusion of new naval assets in the Navy, outlining the responsibilities and challenges facing the commissioned officers. Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi said that Pakistan is a peace loving country and wants to maintain friendly and cordial relations with all its neighbors. He made it clear that the desire for peace and friendship should not be seen as our weakness, as Pakistan's armed forces are well aware of all the nefarious intentions of the enemy and are always ready to thwart them.

The Chief Guest advised the newly commissioned officers to be thankful to Allah Almighty and remain committed to the sacred duty of defending the motherland and do their best to meet the expectations of the nation which There is a tradition. The Naval Chief congratulated the commissioning term on joining the proud Pakistan Navy. He also congratulated the midshipmen of friendly countries on becoming commissioned officers.

Earlier in his welcome address, Commandant Pakistan Naval Academy, Sohail Ahmad Azmi highlighted the quality training imparted at Pakistan Naval Academy to cadets from Pakistan as well as friendly countries. Addressing the commissioning term comprising 01, 07 Qatari, 56 Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) and 102 Pakistani Midshipmen from Jordan, the Commandant urged them to put the interests of the nation first. And always put the ideas of respect, duty and loyalty first.

Later, the special guest distributed prizes among the cadets who showed outstanding performance. Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal was awarded to Lieutenant Asad Munir, Midshipman Muhammad Hassan Jalal won the Sword of Honor for his overall best performance while Midshipman Muhammad Usman Ahmad Khan won the Academy Dirk. In addition, Officer Cadet Hamza Malik won the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gold Medal and Hussam Muhammad Al-Rashidi, a midshipman from the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF), won the Gold Medal. The Main Squadron was entitled to the Professional Banner.
