http://www.clearcreekrw.org/ P.O. Box 2171 League City, Tx 77454 Political Advertising paid for by Clear Creek Republican Women Happy New Year! I hope everyone welcomed the New '20s decade with a BANG! As Republicans, we have talked about 2020 for a long time. We must be bold and get the word out about how important the 2020 Election will be for Texas and our nation. Now is the time to come together. We can no longer stand around the water cooler and just talk about politics. We have work to do by helping our Republican Candidates at the grass roots level. We are hopeful to keep Texas and the White House Red. In pop culture, every new decade throughout time brings us new trends and integral turning points of history. In the 80's it was BIG hair. The 90's rocked on with the “Grunge” era. The 2000's was the dawn of social media and the 2010's brought us the coveted iPhone. I hope when we look back at the '20's it will trend a sea of Red in the state of Texas and Red in Washington DC. Our nation as we have known it is in jeopardy. The conservative point of view has gradually evolved and not for the better. It should concern us all greatly if Blue becomes the majority. As Republicans, we must be united and fight fiercely to hold true to our values. My hope is that everyone in our club will commit to having a positive effect on a Republican candidate's campaign. -

The State Senate is considering amendments to the fiscal 2015 budget proposal and Mayor Marty Walsh apparently has dusted off some of his legislative prowess gathered over 17 years on Beacon Hill by teaming up with Sen. Linda Dorcena Forry on an amendment that allows communities to control their own sale of alcohol later than the current 2:00 am deadline. Forry’s measure would allow communities to go beyond the 2:00 am mandatory deadline in cities and towns that are serviced by MBTA late-night service. Walsh has made it clear, he sees the possibility of clos- ings of bars and restaurants as late as 3:30 am in order to add to Boston’s reputation as a world-class city. Mayor Martin J. He painted a bleak picture of America: a nation of crumbling, third-world infrastructure, “rusted-out factories,” leaky borders, inner cities wallowing in pov- erty, a depleted military and a feckless political class that prospered as the country fell into ruin. He promised an “America First” policy that would turn it all around. “This American carnage stops right here and stops right now,” Trump declared. The inaugural address echoed the themes of a campaign that had electrified the white nationalist – or “alt-right” – movement with its promise to stop all Muslim travelers at the border and deport millions of undocumented immigrants – killers and “rapists,” Trump called them.
