La estadounidense Selena Marie Gomez nació en Texas, el 22 de julio de 1992. Inició su carrera como actriz a los siete años de edad en la serie infantil Barney & Friends, en la cual se mantuvo hasta 2004. Luego hizo apariciones en pequeñas películas y otras series, al estilo de Hannah Montana y de Wizards of Waverly Place , que ganó tres veces el premio Emmy al mejor programa infantil.

Fue en 2008 cuando firmó un contrato con la discográfica Hollywood Records. Un año después formaría una banda llamada Selena Gomez & The Scene, y se publicó su primer álbum de estudio, Kiss & Tell. Su segundo disco se nombró A Year Without Rain, y como el anterior, ingresó al top ten de diversas listas. En febrero de 2012, Selena Gomez anunció que la banda se separaría, y en 2013 salió su ópera prima como solista, Stars Dance, cuyo primer sencillo, Come & Get It, que ahora les proponemos, alcanzó el número seis en la lista Billboard Hot 100. Selena Gomez es la embajadora más joven de la Unicef.
