Statement of Professional Concerns/Aspirations If Elected: After attending my first ALA Conference in New Orleans, I was amazed and energized by all of the wonderful work and ideas I learned about from libraries across the country. Most of my career has been spent in Children's Services but I have recently taken on the role as a Branch Manager and was rejuvenated by all of the ways I could bring the same joy, enthusiasm, and commitment to service to library patrons of all ages and help support, develop, and encourage furture leaders in the library system.
