It became less marked on 16 th November. Easterly to South Easterly winds prevailed in the lower levels over the region on 13 th , 14 th and 17 th November. North Easterly winds prevailed in the lower levels over the region on 16 th November. North Easterly to Easterly winds prevailed in the lower levels over the region on 18 th , 19th November and 20 th November. A trough in easterlies from Equatorial Indian Ocean off south Sri Lanka coast to southwest Bay Of Bengal off north Tamilnadu coast had seen as a cyclonic circulation over Comorin area & Neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level on 19 th Nov.
