Karthika month is the most sacred month to worship Lord Mahadeva In the month of Karthika both Lord Mahadeva and Lord Vishnu are worshipped together, as it’s the month of Sriharahari. Shlokam || Mahimnah param te parama vidusho yadyasadrishi || Pushpadantacharya praised Sri Mahadeva…. as follows, O Mahadeva! your glory is infinite. If it is unseemly to praise You when ignorant of the extent of’ Your greatness, then even the praises of Brahma and others are inadequate. Sri Mahadev in his most delightful form. The sages, the enlightened, the Siddha men, who are rich in tapahsiddhi, stand before Lord Shankara with a very humble sense of humility. For the devotee- humility is the main thing. Without it, no matter how much is done, can grace be obtained so quickly? With the sight of the eye, in front of the Mahayoga Yogi who burnt Manmadha. O Mind! what is your capacity? Mind let go of the ego and worship Mahadeva. What would it be like to bathe in seawater and interpret the ocean with those seawater? O Mahadeva! form of Shiva Shakti, I humbly ask you to give me the fortune to worship you with the flowers of words you have given me. The Brahma Deva say to the Sri Mahadeva, "Hey! Mahadeva, according to my little intellect, I praise you, the Infinite One." God, that goddess has done great penance for you and has impressed you and become your consort. What is my devotion to you who have seen such great penances? It seems to give bitter water to the mouth that drinks honey, my prayer, my devotion, Deva, Mahadeva, forgive us.

It is basically a Bio Cleansing regimen intended to eliminate the toxic elements from the body and thereby enhance immunity of the body and cure the disease. It has a great importance in Ayurveda. Acharya Sushruta has mentioned that Panchakarma should be done by considering proper Matra (amount) and Kaala (time). Kaala (time) is an important factor for deciding the suitable therapy. If therapy is not given at specific time it does not give good result and may cause many complications.

Shankar 2004 ABSTRACT This dissertation explores the theme of dance imagery in south Indian temples by focusing on one aspect of dance expression, namely, the 108-karana sculptures. The immense popularity of dance to the south Indian temple is attested by the profusion of dance sculptures, erection of dance pavilions (nrtta mandapas), and employment of dancers (devaradiyar). However, dance sculptures are considered merely decorative addtitions to a temple. This work investigates and interprets the function and meaning of dance imagery to the Tamil temple. Five temples display prominently the collective 108-karana program from the eleventh to around the 17th century. The Rajaraja Temple at Thanjavur (985- 1015 C.E.) displays the 108-karana reliefs in the central shrine. From their central location in the Rajaraja Temple, the 108 karana move to the external precincts, namely the outermost gopura. In the Sarangapani Temple (12-13th century) at Kumbakonam, the 108 karana are located in the external façade of the outer east gopura. The subsequent instances of the 108 karana, the Nataraja Temple at Cidambaram (12th-16th C.E.), the Arunachalesvara Temple at Tiruvannamalai (16th C.E.), and the Vriddhagirisvara Temple at Vriddhachalam (16th-17th C.E.), ii also use this relocation.
