The Umbrella Academy Cast: Who Plays Young Luther? Who Is Cameron Brodeur? The Umbrella Academy cast: Who plays Young Luther? Who is Cameron Brodeur? THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY cast introduced Cameron Brodeur as Young Luther when the Netflix series dropped earlier this year. But who is the actor behind Young Luther? By ALEX DAVIES PUBLISHED: 17:43, Thu, Mar 21, 2019 | UPDATED: 18:04, Thu, Mar 21, 2019 The Umbrella Academy on Netflix includes a number of high-profile actors in its cast. From Oscar-nominee Ellen Page as Vanya to Game of Thrones star Tom Hopper as Luther, The Umbrella Academy is made up of some of the biggest names from the world of TV and film. One actor to star in The Umbrella Academy is Cameron Brodeur, who portrays Young Luther on-screen. Here’s all you need to know about the actor. Who plays Young Luther on The Umbrella Academy? WARNING: This article contains spoilers from The Umbrella Academy on Netflix. Young Luther is portrayed by Canadian-born actor Cameron Brodeur. The Umbrella Academy star appeared in six episodes of the Netflix series, both in flashbacks and time jumps. Brodeur’s joined by his younger on-screen adoptive siblings Young Klaus (Dante Albidone), Young Allison (Eden Cupid), Young Vanya (TJ McGibbon), Young Diego (Blake Talabis), Young Ben (Ethan Hwang), and Number Five (Aidan Gallagher). Netflix viewers last caught a glimpse at Young Luther in the very last scene of the action-packed season finale. HOW DID BEN DIE ON THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY? The Umbrella Academy cast: Young Luther? The Umbrella Academy cast: Eden Cupid (Image: Netflix)’ and Cameron (Image: Instagram/Cameron Brodeur) Number Five conjured up a plan to transport his siblings through time in order to avoid the apocalypse caused by Vanya’s powers. As Number Five and his older siblings Klaus (Robert Sheehan), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Vanya, Luther, Diego (David Castañeda), and Ben (Justin H Min) joined hands on the stage of the Icarus theatre, they were transformed into their younger selves. The fact Young Luther and his younger siblings appear in the final scene has left a number of fans thinking the Academy will return as children in season two. The second season of The Umbrella Academy is yet to be given the green light by Netflix, however. The Umbrella Academy creator Gerard Way and showrunner Steve Blackman have both dropped major hints it’s on its way, though. WILL NUMBER 8 APPEAR IN THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY SEASON 2? The Umbrella Academy cast: The Young Academy cast (Image: Getty) Who is Cameron Brodeur from The Umbrella Academy? Brodeur is a 16-year-old actor born in Montreal, Canada, according to IMDb. The Umbrella Academy star speaks two languages fluently: English and French. Prior to landing the role of Young Luther, Brodeur had appeared in a number of hit TV shows. Syfy series Helix gave Brodeur his first on-screen acting role as Soren in 2015. WHAT IS NUMBER FIVE'S REAL NAME ON THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY? His CV also boasts roles in Freeform’s The Bold Type and children’s TV series Amélie et Compagnie. Should season two of The Umbrella Academy land on Netflix, Brodeur will more than likely be among its cast. Netflix subscribers and fan of the series will have to keep their eyes peeled for when and if the next season is confirmed. The Umbrella Academy is available to stream on Netflix now. .
