Presenter, Exeter FM, Feb 2008 – February 2010 Regular presenter of weekend programmes: The Weekend Jukebox, an interactive chat/request style programme at first on both Saturday and Sundays which built up regular listeners over the year + the station has been on air. Cover presenter for Drivetime and other programmes.
Presenter and Producer, BBC Radio Lincolnshire, April 2000 - September 2007 Regular presenter of the Friday show ‘Yesterday Once More’, Saturday programme ‘The Solid Gold Saturday Club’, the Sunday Request programme and also the Sunday country programme. Cover presenter for a wide range of daytime speech and music based programmes, including the Morning Show, the Afternoon Show and Drivetime. Cover presenter for The Late Show, East Midlands region, 2005-2008 Organised and appeared on annual theatre shows in aid of the BBC’s nominated charities, organised ‘Children in Need’ shows with local young talent and also Comic Relief shows. Attended approximately 100 cheque collections, talks, etc throughout the county between 2000 and 2007.

Presenter and Producer, Lincs FM Group February 1992 – April 2000 Presenter and producer of weekly specialist programmes, for 3 of the stations in the group, plus the Saturday and Sunday Late show. Regular cover presenter for the Afternoon show, and Drivetime on 3 of the Lincs FM Groups major stations: Lincs FM, Trax FM and Ridings FM. Public appearances from charity events to two week Lincs FM Seaside Summer Specials, with live inserts to all daytime programmes. Organised shows and charitable events, including the conception and presentation of the ‘Line Dance Spectacular’ which involved organising the event, appearing on local television, compering and performing in an event that ended up in the Guinness Book of Records for 1999 and earned the Lincs FM Promotion team a Sony award. Represented the Lincs FM group at a ‘Princes Trust’ Evening Banquet at Buckingham Palace with Prince Edward present.
Managed own music store, Lincoln, 1977 – 2000 As co-owner and manager I employed 8 staff and created a focal point for amateur and professional musicians in the Lincoln area.
Professional vocalist, 1980 – 2006 Appeared across the UK in various theatre shows, holiday camps and nightclubs. Released an album purely in aid of research into Multiple Sclerosis in 1999 – not to gain airplay!
RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL SKILLS Full broadcast competency in use of a range of audio desks and digital playout systems, including Radioman, the BBC Mark 3 Desk (BBC Radio Lincolnshire), the Calrec Digital Assignable Desk (BBC Radio Nottingham), the Myriad system (Exeter FM & Radio Plymouth). Also all associated digital recording and editing.
Interests A keen charity supporter for research into Multiple Sclerosis (as husband has this illness),plus The Dogs Trust and the RSPB. Often asked to present and perform for these charities’ events. To relax, I enjoy walking our Dalmatian on the beach, reading and home renovating.
