The publication is a Cookbook with a little different twist. With each recipe there is to be a story, incident, antidote of historical significance regarding people, places and things of the community. If you want a piece of Auburntown Community History with a lot of good eating to boot, you will not want to miss getting a copy of this nominally priced treasure. It is thought that the publication will be a collector's item just as quick as all the books are initially sold. There are no plans for a second printing. Is there a oneness in scripture regarding Truth/Jesus? Eph. 4:4-6 There is one body and one spirit even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. II John 4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. Can we be divided in our thinking on truth? 1 Cor. 1:10-13 Now I beseech you brethren that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind, ye by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Honored by the Lions Club by riding in the Carriage were David Preston, Mildred Alexander Paschal, Callie Suggs, and Emberlie Whaley. Appreciation to the trainers for their participation at the show. All the classes were outstanding including the Stake Class.

Donald Paschal trained Tennessee Walking Horses from 1940 until retirement in 1976. To train and ride one World Grand Champion is an accomplishment, but to be able to claim two is a dream come true. In 1968, Donald rode Go Boy’s Royal Heir to that honor and in 1972, he made the victory pass again on Handshaker’s Delight.

In his career, Donald won three Junior Walking Horse Grand Championships, a two-year-old Grand Championship, and many of the amateurs he had in training at his stables won championships. During Donald’s training years, he won a total of 4,682 blue ribbons.
