The history of the town goes back to the Roman times, when it was called 'Neapolis'. Widely known as the capital of pottery and ceramics manufacturing, Nabeul is also a center for the production of garum, a seasoning for all sorts of food. Visit of the Byrsa Hill with its vestiges of Carthaginian and Roman buildings, and the Antonine Baths, a huge Roman bath complex on the edge of the Mediterranean. Visit the biggest m osque of Tunisia Anas Ibn Malek and drive by the presidential palace in Cartghage Continue to Sidi Bou Said which today is the meeting place of artists, one of the most beautiful cities of the Mediterranean with it’s pedestrian street sand blue and white c olors. Next visit of the Bardo Tunisia’s National Museum with it’s archaeological collections including the world’s largest collection of Roman and Islamic mosaics. It is housed in a 19th century Beylical palace, and was the first museum to be founded in Africa. After Lunch free time at the Médina souks (old town), you will see centre of the old Medina, door-to-door shops selling all types of local curiosities and stunning houses of character which are nowadays used as exclusive gift shops and at the end v isit the famous ZITOUNA Mosque, the oldest mosque of the capital built on 116 Hejri. The mosque is known to host one of the first and greatest universities in the history of Islam. [3] Many Muslim scholars were graduated from the Al - Zaytuna for over a thousand years. It is reputed that seven visits here are the equivalent of one to Mecca. Its large mosques and cultural history have seen it added to the UNE SCO World Heritage List . Kairouan is an important religious pilgrimage site and, for history lovers, one of Tunisia's star tourist attractions. This bustling city is jam -packed with some of the country's best examples of Islamic architecture, from grand mosques and tombs with ornate decoration to the Medina back alleys lined with candy-coloured houses. Kairouan is also a major shopping destination and is famous for the quality of its carpets. Visit The Great Mosque: the oldest and most important Islamic building in North Africa and was originally built by Oqba ibn Nafi, the Arab commander who founded Kairouan in AD 672. Continue to visit The Barber's Mosque (also called the Zaouia o f Sidi Sahabi ) The complex includes a mausoleum , mosque and madrassa (Islamic school of learning), and was built between 1629 and 1692 over the tomb of one of Muhammad's (the prophet of Islam) companions who died in AD 685. According to legend Sidi Sahabi always carried a few hairs from Muhammad's beard out of reverence for the Prophet, hence the mosque's name. Continue to the north of the Medina , to visit the Aghlabid Basins that supplied water for the Aghlabid palace; The basins are named for the the Ara b-Muslim dynasty for which Kairouan served as the capital city: The Aghlabids ruled the region known as Ifrīqīyah (Tunisia and eastern Algeria) from 800 to 909. The basins were built under the instruction of Prince Abū Ibrāhim A ḥmad, one of the 11 Aghlabid emirs, who was known for commissioning many public works —water works being perhaps the most crucial among them. As Kairouan is considered also the capital of carpets, we will visit the Souk to discover the handmade carpets with different designs and colors. DAY 5 : MAHDIA (B/--/D) Morning departure to city of Mahdia, dinner and night in Hotel. Founded in the early 10th century as the capital of Islamic dynasty Fatimid, Mahdia is today a quiet port town and provincial center of about 40,000 people, known for its fishing, silk weaving and olive industries. DAY 7 : MONASTIR (B/--/D) Monastir is located 20Km from Sousse, The "monastery" after which the town was named, was built by an Islamic religious order in 797 to defend the town from roaming nomadic tribes and Byzantine warships. The fortress houses a lovely museum of Islamic art and artifacts. Clay fractions consist of kaolinite and illite with plastic properties and minor quartz, calcite and feldspar. Applications of clays in bricks and faience ceramics are reported. However, the resulting faience ceramics exhibit some textural defects. These defects could be eliminated by increasing of pressure of the mold.     QUELQUES ASPECTS PROBLEMATIQUES DANS LA TRANSCRIPTION DES TOPONYMES TUNISIENS Mohsen DHIEB Professeur de géographie (cartographie) Laboratoire SYFACTE FLSH de Sfax TUNISIE [email protected] Introduction Quelle que soit le pays ou la langue d’usage, la transcription toponymique des noms de lieux géographiques sur un atlas ou un autre document cartographique en particulier ou tout autre document d’une façon générale pose problème notamment dans des pays où il n’y a pas de tradition ou de « politique » toponymique. Il en est de même pour les contrées « ouvertes » à l’extérieur et par conséquent ayant subi ou subissant encore les influences linguistiques étrangères ou alors dans des régions caractérisées par la complexité de leur situation linguistique. C’est particulièrement le cas de la Tunisie, pays méditerranéen bien « ancré » dans l’histoire, mais aussi bien ouvert à l’étranger et subissant les soubresauts de la mondialisation, et manquant par ailleurs cruellement de politique toponymique. Tout ceci malgré l’intérêt que certains acteurs aux profils différents y prêtent depuis peu, intérêt matérialisé, entre autres manifestations scientifiques, par l’organisation de deux rencontres scientifiques par la Commission du GENUING en 2005 et d’une autre août 2008 à Tunis, lors du 35ème Congrès de l’UGI. Aussi, il s’agit dans le cadre de cette présentation générale de la situation de la transcription toponymique en Tunisie, dans un premier temps, de dresser l’état des lieux, de mettre en valeur les principales difficultés rencontrées en manipulant les noms géographiques dans leurs différentes transcriptions dans un second temps. En troisième lieu, il s’agit de proposer à l’officialisation, une liste-type de toponymes (exonymes et endonymes) que l’on est en droit d’avoir par exemple sur une carte générale de Tunisie à moyenne échelle.

Ce projet est soumis aux dispositions de la loi n°88-91 du 2 août 1988 et notamment son article 5, ainsi qu'au décret n°91-362 de mars 1991 et au décret n°2005-1991 du 11 juillet 2005, qui précisent que la réalisation d'une étude d'impact sur l'environnement et son agrément par l'ANPE sont un préalable à toute autorisation de création d'activités nouvelles susceptibles d'engendrer des nuisances pour l'environnement. 1.1 CADRE GENERALE Le Cap Bon est un cap qui constitue la pointe nord-est de la Tunisie situé sur la mer méditerranée, il ouvre le canal de Sicile et ferme le golfe de Tunis. Appelé parfois « beau promontoire », les habitants connaissent cette péninsule sous le nom de Rass Eddar. À l'époque de la puissance de la civilisation carthaginoise, il constituerait la limite méridionale au-delà de laquelle ne peuvent plus circuler les navires romains.
