Upon texting in the “key word of the week” one (1) winner will be chosen on the following Tuesday to win a Qualifying Prize upon confirmation of eligibility. At the time of notification for qualifying, the potential prize winner will be required to provide all information requested including their full name, complete address (including zip code), day and evening phone numbers and date of birth in order to be eligible to win. The event, staged by Clear Channel Radio Hawaii and Oceanic Time Warner Cable, will take place at the Great Lawn at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa on April 10, 2011 from noon to 5 p.m. All proceeds to benefit the American Red Cross for the Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief efforts. Public Hearing in Calgary, Alberta 20 September 2010 Various Class 1 terrestrial broadcasting distribution undertakings in western Canada – Licence renewals and amendments The Commission renews the licensees’ broadcasting licences for their Class 1 terrestrial broadcasting distribution undertakings serving various locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba from 1 December 2010 to 31 August 2015. These short-term renewals will permit the Commission to review at an earlier date the licensees’ compliance with the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations and their conditions of licence. Additional considerations of the hearing Panel on alternative ways of dealing with non-compliance are attached. Introduction 1. The Commission received applications by Shaw Cablesystems Limited (Shaw) and Videon Cablesystems Inc. (Videon) (collectively, Shaw) to renew the broadcasting licences for their Class 1 terrestrial broadcasting distribution undertakings (BDUs) serving various locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The current licences expire 30 November 2010.1 2. As part of its applications, Shaw requested the deletion of the condition of licence imposed by the Commission at its last licence renewal requiring it to file monthly reports confirming that the sponsorship messages distributed on its community 1 The licences were renewed from 31 August to 30 November 2010 in Administrative renewals, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2010-500, 22 July 2010. -

Judith Buethe Communications has provided the attached summary. Two hundred seventy five people signed in at the door. It is estimated that another 15-20 people attended, but did not sign in. Sixteen NCC Team members attended. Caltrans utilized an open house format for the meeting. Caltrans is the lead agency for the SR 108 East Route Adoption Project for the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). There was a public stenographer present to take comments. Comments were also obtained through comment cards handed out at the door and orally through the team members. Sixty-nine comment cards and eleven dictated comments to the stenographer were received. The attached summary provides more detail regarding the specific comments. Jumbo postcards were mailed to 2,223 property owners and 278 stakeholders, such as local officials, emergency responders; civic and community groups; pertinent local, state, and federal agencies; and other potentially interested individuals and organizations. The meeting was advertised in The Modesto Bee, The Riverbank News, The Oakdale Leader, Bilingual Weekly and Latino Times. Information about the meeting appeared on the Caltrans District 10 Website.
