The Jewish Federation has requested that we, along with Berman Hebrew Academy and other area shuls, help 400 local Holocaust survivors in need of specific items. (Volunteers will package those items for distribution). We will have two boxes in the little shul on the stairs that are clearly marked with the items needed:

$10 Giant Food gift cards and batteries Salmon, tuna, canola and olive oil, whole wheat pasta and crackers 100% fruit juice, oatmeal, and cream of wheat.
