These arrangements are in substitution for those in operation before the date of this notice. Explanatory note The Motor Accidents (Lifetime Care and Support) Act 2006 establishes a scheme to provide lifetime care and support for persons who suffer catastrophic injuries in motor accidents that are covered by the Motor Accidents (Lifetime Care and Support) Act 2006. Explanatory note The object of this Proclamation is to provide for certain classes of person to have the benefit of enhanced extended leave entitlements conferred under Schedule 3 to the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002 (the Act). Schedule 3 to the Act (as amended by the Public Sector Employment and Management Amendment (Extended Leave) Act 2005) provides for certain enhanced extended leave entitlements. Clause 16 of Schedule 4 to the Act modifies the operation of Schedule 3, so as to exclude certain persons from the application of the enhanced extended leave entitlements. Explanatory note The object of this Proclamation is to provide for certain instruments relating to employment to adopt enhanced extended leave entitlements referred to in Schedule 3 to the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002 (the Act). Schedule 3 to the Act (as amended by the Public Sector Employment and Management Amendment (Extended Leave) Act 2005) provides for certain enhanced extended leave entitlements. Clause 17 of Schedule 4 to the Act modifies the operation of Schedule 3 so that the enhanced extended leave entitlements do not apply in respect of certain instruments (principally awards and similar industrial agreements).
