SUBJECT: Road Closures & Conditions Update
Please be advised that the following roads are CLOSED until further notice, due to flooding:
Prince Street: Closed at St. Germain Street from Chandois Street to Milne Street. No through traffic in this area.
St. Germaine Street: Closed from Pritchard Street to Water Street.
Milburn Road: Closed at the intersections of Gelert Road (County Road 1) and County Road 503. Open to local traffic only.
Soyers Lake Road: Closed at the intersections of Blairhampton Road and Alexander Road. Open to local traffic only.
Invergordon Street: Closed at the intersection of Bobcaygeon Road. Residents are advised to use the Stouffer Street extension at the rear entrance of the S.G Nesbitt Memorial Arena as an alternate route.
Orde Street: Closed at the intersection of Deep Bay Road. Open to local traffic only.
McKnight Street: Closed at the intersection of Bobcaygeon Road. Open to local traffic only.
Anson Street: Closed at the intersection of Peck Street. Open to local traffic only.
Spring Valley Road: Closed at #1268. Local traffic only.
Signs and Barricades have been placed at the intersections noted above for each road closure. Unless you are a resident of these roads, DO NOT drive on these roads. Roadways that are underwater may create unstable and dangerous conditions. Page 1 of 2 A reminder that Bobcaygeon Road continues to be CLOSED until further notice, due to a culvert washout. Signs and Barricades are being placed at the intersections of Plantation Road and Highway 118.
A reminder that private roads are not being monitored by the Township and those residents needing to access these roads should do so with caution.
The public is reminded to use caution around area lakes, rivers, creeks and other water sources such as ditches, as high water levels and swift currents can create unstable conditions.
