Carl also grabbed 15 rebounds for her second-straight double-double, to go with three assists and two blocks. Three starters also tallied double-figures in the victory, including Emily Kinneston (14 points), Michael Harris (12 points) and Elina Koskimies (11 points). As a team, the Eagles went 15-for-18 (.833) from the free throw line. Loyola Maryland’s Stephanie Karcz recorded 12 points and 21 rebounds for her fourth back-to-back double-doubles this afternoon. Karcz’s 21 rebounds is the new program’s record for rebounds in a game. Sophomore Izzy Therien led the Greyhounds with 19 points, while Delaney Connolly followed with 13. In the second half of the game, the team went 3-for-6 (.500) from the three-point line.

Naiyah Thompson and Payton Hauck led the Terriers with 13 points each, followed by Nia Irving who scored 10. Irving also added three rebounds, one assists and four steals. Sophie Beaudry finished the game with nine points, nine rebounds, two assists, one block, and two steals. Colgate’s Nia Ahart led the Raiders in points scored with nine, followed by King Summer, Kateri Stone and Haley Greer who all scored seven points each. Mylah Chandler paced the team in steals with two, while Chelsey Koren led the team in assists with two. As a team, the team were 18-for-22 (.818) from the free throw line.

In the second half, the team was perfect from the three-point line as they went 5-for-5. Ellie Mack came off the bench strong as she scored a career-high 20 points for Bucknell, to go with five rebounds, one block and one steal. Junior Kaitlyn Slagus finished the game with 11 points, nine boards and one block, while Kate Walker recorded seven points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Murray finished the game with 17 points and 10 rebounds to go with two assists and one steal, while Hovren scored 14 points and grabbed 10 boards. Libby Tacka tallied double-figures in scoring with 14 points, as Daizjah Morris led the team in steals with four. As a team, the Black Knights went 13-for-19 (.684) from the free throw line. Lafayette dropped to 2-3 in League play tonight despite Anna Ptasinski’s 17-point night. Drew Freeland followed Ptasinski with 14 points, three rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Audrey Bauer, Navy (2010-14) FOLLOW PATRIOT LEAGUE ATHLETICS & ACADEMIC SUCCESS Now in its third decade as an all-sport conference combining academic and athletic excellence, the Patriot League sponsors championships in 24 men and women’s PATRIOT LEAGUE sports. Initially started as an NCAA Division I-AA football conference in 1986, the Patriot League became an all-sport conference in 1990 and includes American, Army West Point, Boston University, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh, Loyola Maryland and Navy as full members, and Fordham, Georgetown, MIT and Richmond as associate members. These institutions are among the oldest and most prestigious in the nation and their alumni have and continue to play ON SOCIAL MEDIA leadership roles in shaping our country.

The Patriot League’s mission is simple: to provide successful competitive athletic experiences while maintaining high academic standards, and to prepare its stu- FACEBOOK dent-athletes to be leaders in society. During the 2016-17 academic year, Patriot League student-athletes and teams accomplished the following:

*97 Patriot League teams (45.8 percent of League teams) earned NCAA Public Recognition Awards for ranking in the top 10 percent of their sport in Academic Progress Rate (APR), with a Patriot League record 84 squads earning perfect scores. facebook.com/patriotleague *The Patriot League ranked second among all conferences in Public Recognition Awards, and tied for the national lead with the Ivy League for the highest percent- age of teams earning the honor at 45.8 percent.

*The League’s 93 percent graduation success rate (GSR) is the best mark in the nation for the second-consecutive year. Nine schools were at 90 percent or higher. All 10 member institutions exceeded the national GSR of 86 percent. In addition the League’s 86 percent Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) places it as the national leader for the fourth-consecutive year.

*American’s Natalie Konerth (Field Hockey) and Navy’s Ryan Bailey (Men’s Swimming) were named the Corvias Patriot League Female and Male Scholar-Athlete TWITTER of the Year honorees, respectively.

*Bucknell’s Sune Swart (Women’s Basketball) and Lafayette’s Matt Cortese (Men’s ) each received the Patriot League Award of Outstanding Leadership and Character. *Holy Cross’s Anthony Critelli () won the Senior CLASS Award for baseball and was one of five Patriot League finalists for the award, along with Bucknell’s Brett Smith (Baseball), Lehigh’s Tim Kempton (Men’s Basketball) and Justin Worley (Men’s Soccer) and Navy’s Adrian Chinnery (Baseball).

*Navy won the Corvias Patriot League Presidents’ Cup for the fourth straight time and fifth in the last six years.

*Army West Point won the men’s title, while Boston University claimed the women’s crown.

*Navy women’s lacrosse became the fourth Patriot League team in any sport to advance to the semifinals of an NCAA Championship as the Mids defeated No. 7 Penn, UMass and No. 2 North Carolina in their tournament play.

*Fordham RB Chase Edmonds and Bucknell OL Julie’n Davenport became the 11th and 12th players in League history to be named Consensus All-Americans.

*Bucknell’s Davenport became the first Patriot League football player selected in the NFL Draft since 2011 when he went in the 4th round (130th overall) to the Houston Texans.

*Also winning NCAA Tournament contests in 2016-17 were American field hockey and Holy Cross baseball, combining with Navy women’s lacrosse for five tour- nament victories.

*Lehigh quarterback Nick Shafnisky was named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year while Colgate defensive lineman Pat Afriyie took home the organization’s Defensive Player of the Year honor. Lehigh was tabbed as the ECAC FCS Team of the Year.

*Lehigh offensive lineman was named the FCS ADA Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He was joined on the FCS ADA Academic All-America team by Holy Cross wide receiver Jake Wieczorek and Lafayette offensive lineman Collin Albershardt.
