3RD OCTOBER —— 3RD NOVEMBER 2019 OF EVENTS PROGRAMME information visit the website at more details & programme For BRITISHTEXTILEBIENNIAL.CO.UK In my many years of working in the fashion industry, I’ve always celebrated the best of British textile traditions. It’s an industry that I love and admire and one that has been in my family for generations. It’s an industry alive with skill, passion and innovation; an industry with both an incredible history and an exciting future. I am delighted to be Patron of the British Textile Biennial to celebrate all of this and to ensure its future by encouraging young people to get engaged with making and manufacturing again. It’s important to Lancashire that the textile industry thrives because it provides great careers for thousands of people but also a great sense of connection with the past and a sense of pride.
