SHER AKBAR KHAN to invite attention made a brief statement followed by each of the Minister for Energy to a matter of urgent question asked by:- public importance regarding shortage/non- Mr. Fazal Muhammad Khan; recruitment of staff in power companies, causing Malik Muhammad Ehsan Ullah Tiwana; and grave concern amongst the public. Mr. Sher Akbar Khan, MNAs MOTION Mr. Ali Muhammad Khan, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs moved the following motion which was adopted by the House:- “That under rule 288 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007 the requirement of rule 51 of the said Rules in respect of Private Members’ Business to be transacted on Tuesday, the 11th February, 2020, may be suspended in order to take up Government Business on that day and the Private Members’ Business shall be transacted on Thursday, the 13th February, 2020.” 1 MOTION Mr. Ali Muhammad Khan, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs moved the following motion which was adopted by the House:- “ This House may discuss the economic situation of Pakistan.” RESOLUTION 4. The Chairperson Suspended the proceeding of the House till the completion of quorum. At 6:56 p.m the count was made again the House was not in order. PERVEZ KHATTAK, Minister for Defence to move that the Bill to provide for constitution and regulation of the Joint Maritime Information Organization [The Left over Joint Maritime Information Organization Bill, 2019], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once. 7. NAFISA SHAH to invite attention of the Minister for Energy to a matter of Left over urgent public importance regarding rescinding all inclusive tariff of US cents 7.5 per unit and imposing taxes/surcharges to extent of over 50% of tariff retrospectively from January 2019 on exporters, causing grave concern amongst the public.
