Betsy Boykin is the founder of Core Studio Design, a landscape architecture firm specializing in institutional and commercial projects. She graduated with a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Univer- sity Graduate School of Design (GSD) and with a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Art History from Williams Col- lege. She has worked with several offices, including Child Associates and Hargreaves Associates in Boston, and founded the landscape studio at Ayers Saint Gross in , where she worked on the Pratt Street Concept Design. She is currently working on a mixed income apartment development in East Baltimore, the Lillian Jones Apartments, with The Bernstein Companies on the renovation and expansion of an I. M. Pei complex in Southwest Washington, DC, with Forest City and the State of on the Maryland Public Health Laboratory in Baltimore, and with The College of William & Mary on their Campus Master Plan and New Fraternity Housing Precinct Study and Design. She is also working with , The Maryland School for the Blind, and Montgomery College,
