The state approved wastewater permit includes the plans for a drilled well. Services: Comcast offers high speed internet, phone, cable TV, and home security. Wood: The basement of the cabin has a Jutol woodstove for heat. The main level has a Danish wood stove, used primarily by the seller for heat. All heating wood has been taken from the property by the seller. Bathrooms: The main level bathroom is a 3/4 bath with composting toilet. The basement level has a small room with a composting toilet and another tiled room with the hot tub, shower, and sink. Currently, the seller does not have the hot tub set up, as the property is used sparingly at this point. Heating: The cabin utilizes a glycol, closed loop, baseboard heating system. This runs off the propane furnace. This prevents the need of a winterization process for the heating system. According to the town zoning map, there is an adjacent 0.50+/- parcel across the brook that is not part of this property, indicated as a “cemetery, burial plot, or monument.” The town office has indicated a record of two unknown graves from an unknown time. Boundaries: Property is formally surveyed. Seller indicates that the boundaries were marked many years ago and probably do not exist fully at this point. However, all corner pins do exist. According to the property survey, and confirmed by the town office, there is a State right-of-way along the road frontage of the property for utility maintenance. Deck: Behind the home, facing the brook, the cabin is set up for the installation of a deck. There are concrete piers already installed in the ground for support and wood nailers on the cabin structure for easy installation. Roofs: The cabin and both barns have metal, standing seam roofs. Neighbor: The seller has indicates that the neighboring property to the southeast, which is the Bromley View Inn, has encroached slightly with their parking lot near the southern most corner of the property. The current owner has been okay with this. It’s something that will need to be addressed by the Purchaser. Outbuildings: Garage/ Workshop: Just above the cabin is a 24’x36’ - 3-story structure. The ground level offers a 2-bay garage with additional storage. The main level is currently set up for woodworking with a garage door opposite the cabin and a woodstove for heat. The 3rd level offers a nice open storage area with trap door in floor to raise or lower timber. Large Barn: Across the driveway from the garage is a 68’6’’x32’ - 2-story barn. There are two 12’x12’ garage doors across from each other on either end. Also, a large 12’x20’ garage door on the side currently used to bring in lumber for the portable mill. Barn is equipped with radiant hear (powered by a wood/coal Tarm furnace located in the garage). The open storage 2nd level includes an industrial lift (currently used for lumber) accessing the main level through a cut-out in the 2nd level floor. The main level offers 18 ft ceilings, a concrete floor, and steel beam construction to support heavy loads on the second level storage. Within biophysical regions, the places are listed more or less north-to-south and by county. This list T includes all the places to visit that are mentioned in the natural community profiles, plus several more to round out an exploration of each biophysical region. The list of natural communities at each site is not exhaustive; only the communities that are especially well-expressed at that site are listed. Most of the natural communities listed are easily accessible at the site, though only rarely will they be indicated on trail maps or brochures. You, the naturalist, will need to do the sleuthing to find out where they are. Use topographic maps and aerial photographs if you can get them. In a few cases you will need to do some serious bushwhacking to find the communities listed. Bring your map and compass, and enjoy! Giumarro Schoolof Natural Resources University of Vermont Burlingto~ VT 05405 2 2000 Vermont Watch able Wildlife Survey Consumptive wildlife activities, such as hunting and fishing, have traditionally dominated recreational use of nature in rural areas.However, social attitudes and patterns of wildlife recreation have changed over the last 25 years, and "nonconsumptive" wildlife recreation has become an important part of wildlife agency's management strategies. This study representsone effort by the Vermont Department ofFish and Wildlife to understandthe behaviors of"nonconsumptive" wildlife users in Vermont, and their attitudes towards watchable wildlife. This research also explores how wildlife watchers' attitudes and behaviors may have changed over the last 10 years. Researchers in the 1970's began to notice a shift in the attitudes of consumptive wildlife users. Heberlein (1991) has identified several attitude changes in society that help explain these attitude changes.He found that: (1) in the mid 1970's, at least half of the U.S. residents opposed hunting (2) women and urban residents had the most negative attitudes toward hunting, (3) increasing numbers of people feel that killing for pleasure, bonding, and tradition is inappropriate, and that better alternatives to these activities exist, and (4) there are increasingly popular theories of conservation and preservation. Heberlein (1991) also writes that women have an increasing influence in society and consequently in wildlife recreation. These changing attitudes about hunting and wildlife have led to decreasesin hunting participation and increases in wildlife watching participation.

Please review the supporting materials provided for a full explanation of existing conditions, identification of historic resources and assessment of adverse effects. Working together in consultation, FPR and DHP have come to agreement on a list of proposed and recommended stipulations that we believe will serve as reasonable and appropriate mitigation, suitable to resolve the adverse effects identified. We are currently working on a rough draft of a Memorandum of Agreement that will reflect the final agreed-upon measures, once we have received your direction and approval. The following are the stipulations we jointly offer for your consideration and discussion at the upcoming ACHP meeting on February 23, 2018. VDHP and Applicant agree as follows: 1. FPR will continue the discussion about the park’s future with local organizations, the community and other interested parties. 2. FPR shall complete A Maintenance Plan for Preservation for the complex within one (1) year from the date of this MOA. a.
