A1 and A1(2) - Country codes From May 2004, country of residence and country of visit for Cyprus (formerly 0320) is coded: Northern (Turkish) Cyprus 0330 Southern (Greek) Cyprus 0340 So from May 2004, passport, migrant/long-stay country of birth (formerly 032) is coded: Northern (Turkish) Cyprus 033 Southern (Greek) Cyprus 034 2. A2, A2(2), A3 and A3(2) - County/Unitary Authority/London Borough and Town codes There were no changes to these codes between February 2004 and January 2005. 3. Q7 - States/Territories/Provinces/Regions/Counties Countries of residence asked in 2005 about states/territories/provinces of residence are: S1-S2 Germany S3-S4 Italy S5 USA S6 Eire 4. E/F - Shipping Line codes/Sea and Channel Tunnel routes From July 2004, Channel Tunnel route code 53 (formerly Cheriton-Coquelles double-deck vehicle shuttles) was deleted. And Channel Tunnel route code 52 (formerly Cheriton-Coquelles single-deck vehicle shuttles) was redefined as follows: 52 Cheriton-Coquelles single & double-deck vehicle shuttles. 9. Introduction 1.1 The Air Accident and Incident Investigation Board (AAIIB) of Cyprus hosted the 17th ISASI Reachout Workshop, which was titled, ISASI Workshop on Flight Safety and Accident and Incident prevention. AAIIB Chairman Costas Orphanos and his team organized the Workshop with assistance from Captain Akrivos Tsolakis, Chairman of the Hellenic Air Accident Investigation & Safety Board (HAAISB). 1.2 The workshop was opened on Monday 29 May 2006 by Chairman Orphanos, who then introduced the Minister of Communications and Works, the Director-General of the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), and Captain Tsolakis, who made opening remarks. Chairman Orphanos was assisted throughout the workshop by staff from the AAIIB and DCA. 1.3 The workshop was held in the Golden Bay Hotel near Larnaca. On the evening of the last day, a banquet was held in the hotel for all participants, at which the Minister of Communications and Works, the Director-General of the DCA, Chairman Orphanos, and Captain Tsolakis made closing remarks and presented certificates to all of the students. 2. Content of the Workshop 2.1 The workshop comprised ten working days. The program was about equally divided into Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Accident/Incident Investigation and Prevention. Chromatography, chromatogram Chromatography is the common name of different techniques used to separate mix- tures of compounds. HPLC stands for high-performance liquid chromatography. A chromatogram is the pattern of separated substances obtained by chromatography. Colloidal sol A colloidal sol is a suspension of very small solid particles in a continuous liquid medium. Colloidal sols are quite stable and show the Tyndall effect (light scatter- ing by particles in a colloid). They can be quite stable. Examples include blood, pigmented ink, and paint.
