CONDEMNATION of COMMUNISM in PONTIFICAL MAGISTERIUM Since Pius IX Till Paul VI
CONDEMNATION OF COMMUNISM IN PONTIFICAL MAGISTERIUM since Pius IX till Paul VI Petru CIOBANU Abstract: The present article, based on several magisterial documents, illus- trates the approach of Roman Pontiffs, beginning with Pius IX and ending with Paul VI, with regard to what used to be called „red plague”, i.e. communism. The article analyses one by one various encyclical letters, apostolic letters, speeches and radio messages in which Roman Pontiffs condemned socialist theories, either explicitly or implicitly. Keywords: Magisterium, Pope, communism, socialism, marxism, Christianity, encyclical letter, apostolic letter, collectivism, atheism, materialism. Introduction And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ (Rev 12,3-4.13.17). These words, written over 2.000 years ago, didn’t lose their value along time, since then and till now, reflecting the destiny of Christian Church and Christians – „those who guard the God words and have the Jesus tes- timony” – in the world, where appear so many „dragons” that have the aim to persecute Jesus Christ followers. -
In Fatima on the 8Th Day of the Novena
The Message of Fatima 100th Anniversary – 2017 1914-Apparition At 7 years old I (Lucia) began tending our flock of sheep. One day as we (Lucia & some friends) saw for the 1st time a figure that had a human shape, whiter than snow and which the sun turned transparent. This apparition recurred twice again without manifesting itself and always suspended in the air, over the wood at the bottom of the “Cabezo.” When questioned by her mother, “As I did not know how to explain clearly and to free myself from questions, I replied that it looked like someone wrapped in a very white sheet.” 1st 1916 Apparition of the Angel After quickly praying the rosary Lucia dos Santos with cousins Francisco & Jacinta Marto started to play a game. “We were feeding our flocks in a property belonging to my parents called “Chousa Velha,” which lies at the bottom of a hill called “Cabezo,” on the east side. It was there that the Angel appeared to us for the 1st time in the form of a youth, as white as snow, shining more brightly then the sun and as transparent as crystal. We began to see this light coming towards us and thus we gradually distinguished the features. We were taken by surprise and being half bewildered we did not say a word. On reaching us he said, “Don’t be afraid. I am the Angel of Peace. Pray with me!” And kneeling down, he bowed his forehead to the ground and made us repeat these words three times: My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I beg pardon of You for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love You.” “Pray thus. -
Ad Caeli Reginam
Ad Caeli Reginam accepted so that with the encyclical Ad Caeli Reginam, of October 11, 1954, Pope Pius XII instituted the feast of the Queenship of Mary.[2] 2 Basic teachings According to Catholic teaching Mary should be called Queen, not only because of her divine motherhood of Je- sus Christ, but also because God has willed her to have an exceptional role in the work of salvation. Mary was cho- sen as Mother of Christ in order that she might become a partner in the redemption of the human race: “As Christ, the new Adam must be called a King not merely because He is Son of God, but also because He is our Redeemer, so, analogously, the Most Blessed Virgin is queen not only because she is Mother of God, but also because, as the new Eve, she was associated with the new Adam.”[3] 3 Context The Church has always taught that Mary is far above all other creatures in dignity, and after her Son possesses pri- macy over all. Germanus of Constantinople says: “Your honor and dignity surpass the whole of creation; your Botticelli, the coronation of the Virgin greatness places you above the angels.” And St. John Damascene goes so far as to say: “Limitless is the dif- Ad Caeli Reginam is an encyclical of Pope Pius XII, ference between God’s servants and His Mother.” [4] given at Rome, from St. Peter’s Basilica, on the feast of Pius XII quotes his predecessors: Pope Pius IX, “With a the Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the eleventh heart that is truly a mother’s,” does she approach the prob- day of October, 1954, in the sixteenth year of his Pon- lem of our salvation, and is solicitous for the whole hu- tificate. -
The Holy See
The Holy See LE PELERINAGE DE LOURDESENCYCLICAL OF POPE PIUS XII WARNING AGAINST MATERIALISM ON THE CENTENARY OF THE APPARITIONS AT LOURDES TO THE CARDINALS, ARCHBISHOPS, AND BISHOPS OF FRANCE IN PEACE AND COMMUNION WITH THE APOSTOLIC SEE Beloved Sons and Venerable Brethren, Greetings and Apostolic Benediction. Deep in our soul are profound and pleasant memories of the pilgrimage to Lourdes which We had the privilege of making when We went to preside, in the name of Our Predecessor, Pius XI, over the Eucharistic and Marian celebrations marking the close of the Jubilee of the Redemption. 2. We are particularly pleased, therefore, to learn that, on the initiative of the Bishop of Tarbes and Lourdes, this Marian city is preparing an appropriate celebration for the centenary of the apparitions of the Immaculate Virgin at the grotto of Massabielle, and that an international committee has been set up for this purpose under the presidency of His Eminence Eugene Cardinal Tisserant, Dean of the Sacred College of Cardinals. 3. We wish to join with you, Beloved Sons and Venerable Brothers, in thanking God for the great favor granted your country, and for the many graces He has bestowed on multitudes of pilgrims during the past century. 4. We wish to invite all Our children to renew in this jubilee year their confident and generous devotion to her who, in the words of Saint Pius X, deigned to establish at Lourdes "the seat of her immense kindness."[1] 5. Every Christian land is a Marian land; there is not a nation redeemed in the blood of Christ which does not glory in proclaiming Mary its Mother and Patroness. -
Fatima and the Holy Father in This Evening's Talk on Fatima and The
Fatima and the Holy Father In this evening’s talk on Fatima and the Holy Father, I am going to cover both the Pope in the message of Fatima and the history of the Popes’ response to the Fatima message from 1917 to the present, ending with insights from Pope Benedict XVI’s recent visit to Fatima. Reference to the Holy Father occurs at least four times in the “secret” revealed to the seers on July 13, 1917 …We then looked up at Our Lady, who said to us so kindly and so sadly: “You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end: but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the Pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that he is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. -

Godność Człowieka I Dobro Wspólne W Papieskim Nauczaniu Społecznym
Rozdział III Godność człowieka i dobro wspólne w nauczaniu papieskim w latach 1878−1958 1. Fr. Luigi Villa: Probably John XXIII and Paul VI Initiated in the Freemasonry?
PAUL VI… BEATIFIED? By father Doctor LUIGI VILLA PAUL VI… BEATIFIED? By father Doctor LUIGI VILLA (First Edition: February 1998 – in italian) (Second Edition: July 2001 –in italian) EDITRICE CIVILTà Via Galileo Galilei, 121 25123 BRESCIA (ITALY) PREFACE Paul VI was always an enigma to all, as Pope John XXIII did himself observe. But today, after his death, I believe that can no longer be said. In the light, in fact, of his numerous writings and speeches and of his actions, the figure of Paul VI is clear of any ambiguity. Even if corroborating it is not so easy or simple, he having been a very complex figure, both when speaking of his preferences, by way of suggestions and insinuations, and for his abrupt leaps from idea to idea, and when opting for Tradition, but then presently for novelty, and all in language often very inaccurate. It will suffice to read, for example, his Addresses of the General Audiences, to see a Paul VI prey of an irreducible duality of thought, a permanent conflict between his thought and that of the Church, which he was nonetheless to represent. Since his time at Milan, not a few called him already “ ‘the man of the utopias,’ an Archbishop in pursuit of illusions, generous dreams, yes, yet unreal!”… Which brings to mind what Pius X said of the Chiefs of the Sillon1: “… The exaltation of their sentiments, the blind goodness of their hearts, their philosophical mysticisms, mixed … with Illuminism, have carried them toward another Gospel, in which they thought they saw the true Gospel of our Savior…”2. -

Mary's Immaculate Conception by Father William G. Most in Teaching
Mary's Immaculate Conception by Father William G. Most In teaching that Mary was conceived immaculate, the Catholic Church teaches that from the very moment of her conception, the Blessed Virgin Mary was free from all stain of original sin. This simply means that from the beginning, she was in a state of grace, sharing in God's own life, and that she was free from the sinful inclinations which have beset human nature after the fall. History of the Doctrine There are two passages in Scripture which point us to this truth. We look first at Genesis 3.15, in which we see the parallel between Mary and Eve of which the early Church Fathers already spoke: "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed: he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel." The Jews saw this passage as referring to the struggle between Christ and Satan, and so the Church see in "the woman" a prophetic foreshadowing of the Virgin Mary (Vatican II, Lumen gentium, # 55). If there is to be complete enmity between the woman and the serpent, then she never should have been in any way subject to him even briefly. This implies an Immaculate conception. We can also reason from the text of Lk 1:28, in which the angel calls her "full of grace". If we can validate the translation--we can, and will do so, shortly--then in this verse we can see even more strongly the complete enmity with the serpent--for God's grace is complete opposed to Satan's reign.
