Invisible Disabilities By: Melissa Slimmer Today I'm going to be talking about Disabilities, more specifically, Invisible Disa- bilities. Invisible Disabilities are invisible until they start flaring and acting up, then they aren’t invisible anymore, hence the name Invisible Disabilities. There are various types of Invisible Disabilities, some of them are… Autism Fibromyalgia/Chronic Pain Gastroparesis Joint Damage/Joint Pain Tachycardia These are all just some of the types that are under the label, Invisible Disabilities. Everybody gets affected by them in very different ways, not everybody can deal with it the same [ie medication, and treatments.] I live by this quote, “Not All Disabilities Are Visible.” It means don’t judge someone just because they might be disabled. It also means you can’t judge if someone is or isn’t disabled. {Photo cred: Google} Meet Mrs. Goudy By: Destinee Merryfield Q: What subject do you wish you could teach? The team I think that is going to win is the Milwaukee Bucks because Giannis Antetokounmpo is an By: Gavin Long unstoppable freak of nature. Now that the second round is over, here are the teams that still remain; Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Toronto Raptors. On Tuesday, May 14th the NBA draft lottery will be announced. What is the draft lottery you may ask? The draft lottery is when the NBA chooses the order of the draft. The big story of the NBA draft is Zion Williamson and what team he will go to. Some of the teams that people think he will go to are the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Atlanta Hawks. I want him to go to the NY Knicks! NHL The NHL playoffs are in the third round and the teams that are left are the St Louis Blues, San Jose Sharks, Carolina Hurricanes, and Boston Bruins. The San Jose Sharks will WIN the whole thing in my opinion, because they have the best all around roster in the NHL. [Photo Credit Google Images] Which CPU is Better (Intel or AMD) By: Michael Barone Intel and AMD Ryzen are competitors in the CPU market. Not many normal people have heard of AMD Ryzen CPUs unless you have been studying computers. For most people, Intel is better than AMD. Intel’s platform is faster and cheaper. Intel’s Core i7 7700K processor can go for around $500. An AMD Ryzen 1800X CPU costs $699. A comparable AMD system will cost more. This is a test someone made showing the performance of 3 different Intel cores and 1 AMD core: Generally speaking, Intel’s 7th Generation processors are faster than AMD’s Ryzen processors but there are exceptions. In general usage Intel wins but when an application or game that takes full advantage of all the available cores, Ryzen can be much faster. 3 Teen Fitness Equality for Women By: Alex Ayala By: Mason Kwasnaza Do you think men and women should have equal rights Things you SHOULD do when you workout. for everything? • Talented ASAP Rocky Stuck in a Rut
"ALLA" Album Review: Talented ASAP Rocky Stuck In A Rut Author : gwgras Coming out of Harlem, New York is Asap Rocky. His road to hip hop stardom isn’t anything new: from a poor family, dealt drugs, saw death at an early age–began rapping–things happened. That’s not to belittle his journey – at all, but one wouldn’t get that “defeated while coming up” tone if they listened to Rocky’s music. Some would call him more of a modern-day hippie–much like Wiz Khalifa and others. He struck a $3 million dollar deal because of his mixtape success and has capitalized releasing hits like “F’n Problems” and “Wild For the Night” from his first album “Long. Live. ASAP.” His follow up album “ALLA (At Long Last ASAP)” comes with the pressure of capitalizing off his commercial success. The album starts off perfectly with “Holy Ghost.” In terms of delivery and tone, Rocky sounds more like T.I. than anything else, but delivers some insightful lines: “Satan giving out deals, finna own these rappers / the game is full of slaves and they mostly rappers / you sold your soul first, then your homies after / Let’s show these stupid field n*****s they can own they masters.” Rocky is a young business mind and finds it weird how some who have been in the game longer than him still get screwed over with music industry politics. The laid back “Excuse Me” shows Rocky delivering a laid back flow in which he rattles off a perfect rhyme scheme.

AMERICAN JOURNAL OF UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH VOL. 2, NO. 3 (2003) NBA Draft Lottery Probabilities Chad R. Florke and Mark D. Ecker Department of Mathematics University of Northern Iowa Cedar Falls, Iowa 50614-0506 USA Received: November 6, 2003 Accepted: December 1, 2003 ABSTRACT We examine the evolution of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA’s) Draft Lottery by showing how the changes implemented by the Board of Governors have impacted the probabilities of obtaining top picks in the ensuing draft lottery. We explore how these changes have impacted the team with the worst record and also investigate the conditional probabilities of the fourth worst team receiving the third pick. These calculations are conditioned upon two specified teams receiving the first two selections. We show that the probability of the fourth worst team receiving the third pick can be made unconditionally. We calculate the probabilities for the fourth worst team to move up in the draft to receive either the first, second, or third selections, along with its chance of keeping the fourth pick or even dropping in the draft. We find there is a higher chance for the fourth worst team to drop to the fifth, sixth or seventh position than to stay at the fourth position or move up. I.
