CAST BIOS

LUKE PERRY (Avery Ford) – – In 1989, Luke Perry was chosen for a starring role on the internationally popular television series “Beverly Hills 90210,” in which he portrayed the brooding but sensitive Dylan McCay. The highly-rated program won a Golden Globe® Award for Best Dramatic Television series in 1991.

Perry made his feature film debut in a starring role in “8 Seconds,” the remarkable account of champion bull rider Lane Frost, which he co-produced. His serious devotion to the inspirational legend of Lane Frost led him to train vigorously for 18 months in order to master the techniques of bull riding and to be able to perform many of his own stunts during production. Other film credits include Columbia’s “Fifth Element,” directed by Luc Besson, “Riot” for Showtime, “Normal Life,” “American Strays” and “The Florentine,” in which he co-starred with Chris Penn, Jim Belushi, Michael Madsen and Mary Stuart Masterson.

Perry made his debut on Broadway in the critically acclaimed musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show, where he portrayed “Brad,” the character originally played by Barry Bostwick in the cult film classic. In 2004, Perry appeared onstage in London opposite Allyson Hannigan in When Harry Met Sally.

Not one to be typecast because of his work on “90210,” Perry’s television credits include a myriad of roles. Most recently, he’s been seen in “Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise” on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, “Detective McLean: The Ties That Bind” and the television movie “Welcome Home.” Perry also was seen as the lead in the NBC drama “Windfall,” HBO’s “John From Cincinnati,” starred for two seasons on “Jeremiah,” Showtime’s sci-fi series, a multi-episode arc on HBO’s critically acclaimed series “Oz,” in which he portrayed a televangelist convicted of fraud, as well as roles in Hallmark Channel productions “Johnson County War,” “Supernova,” “A Gunfighter’s Pledge” and “Angel and the Badman.” Perry starred in “Goodnight for Justice,” Hallmark Movie Channel’s highest rated movie of all time. The idea for “Goodnight” was not only conceived by Perry but he also executive produced the film, and stars in the sequel “Goodnight For Justice: The Measure of a Man.”

EMMANUELLE VAUGIER (Heather) – Emmanuelle Vaugier is a versatile actor who simply sizzles when it comes to portraying those feisty female leads who like to stir things up a bit. Her role in ABC’s steamy summer soap “Mistresses” is no exception. In the series, Vaugier portrays Niko, the new mixologist at Wunderbar, and a thorn in Joss’ (Jes Macallan) side. This role is the latest addition to Emmanuelle’s already impressive body of work. This stunning actor continues to reprise her role of The Morrigan on the innovative series “.”

Vaugier may be best known for her popular role as Charlie Sheen’s ex-fiancée Mia on the award-winning CBS comedy “.” For three seasons she also played Detective Jessica Angell on “CSI: NY” and also appeared alongside Piper Perabo in the USA crime series “Covert Affairs,” in the recurring role of Liza Hearn, a journalist and blogger not afraid to push boundaries. Other television appearances include guest roles on “The Mentalist,” “Big Shots” and “Supernatural.” She was also the new female superhero for the Sci Fi Channel television pilot of the comic “Painkiller Jane,” and had a starring role in the “Master of Horror” series directed by John Carpenter. Vaugier’s other television credits include UPN‘s hit series “” and a starring role in the WB comedy “My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star.” Other roles include Lex Luthor’s wife Dr. Helen Bryce on the WB’s hit series “” as well as a recurring role on “One Tree Hill” and the FOX action/drama series “Human Target,” playing FBI Agent Emma Barnes.

Vaugier’s feature film credits include “Saw II,” “Saw IV,” “Secondhand Lions” with and and “40 Days and 40 Nights” with Josh Hartnett, to name a few. One of the roles she connected with the most was playing a woman who rescues animals in “Susie’s Hope,” a role for which she won best actress at the Greensville International Film Festival. Vaugier was previously seen on Hallmark Channel in “It’s Christmas, Carol!” opposite Carrie Fisher, for which she won a Leo Award. Additionally, she also stars in “Absolute Deception” alongside Cuba Gooding Jr.

Off-screen, she is an avid animal lover. A project that is very close to Vaugier’s heart is her own 501c3 charitable foundation The Fluffball, which raises money for various animal charities through her annual cocktail event. A dedicated equestrian she competes on a horse rescued from a situation of neglect. Vaugier paints to express her creativity and contributes a major portion of her sales to the many charitable animal rescue organizations she supports.
