CAMPIONATO DEL MONDO ENDURO: TOMMI CAMPIONI DEL MONDO DELLA E3 CON MIKA AHOLA E DELLA EJ CON JEREMY JOLY

Il Gran Premio di Francia di sabato 1 e domenica 2 ottobre a Mende, in Francia, ottava ed ultima prova del Campionato Mondiale Enduro 2011 è stato un weekend straordinariamente ricco di emozioni per il Tommi, che con il Team HONDA-HM- ZANARDO è Campione del Mondo Enduro della classe E3 con con Mika Ahola e della classe EJ con Jeremy Joly. Per Tommi si tratta del quinto titolo mondiale consecutivo dopo i due conquistati nella E2 nel 2007 e 2010 e gli altri due del 2008 e 2009 vinti nella E1, sempre con Ahola.

Il Team Honda-HM-Zanardo e Mika Ahola hanno fatto dunque vincere il cuore, ancora una volta, in una stagione tutta da incorniciare. Fin da sabato, quando Ahola ha fatto sua la vittoria mettendo in cassaforte anche la conquista del suo quinto titolo iridato, la gara è stata ricca di momenti di lotta, di emozioni, di colpi di scena e di spettacolari performance da parte di un superpilota come Mika, che ha messo in mostra doti tecniche e tattiche. Quella di Jeremy Joly, non è stata una vittoria facile in quanto il giovane pilota francese sabato è finito secondo dopo una strenua lotta con il connazionale Romain Dumontier che gli ha permesso di portare a otto punti il proprio vantaggio nella classifica iridata sullo spagnolo Mario Roman. Joly, invece, domenica ha centrato il titolo della EJ grazie a una straordinaria seconda posizione. A completare il successo di squadra del Team Honda-HM-Zanardo ha contribuito anche Rodrig Thain. Quarto nella classifica finale di mondiale della E1, sabato si è dovuto accontentare della quarta posizione, riscattandosi domenica con una splendida vittoria di giornata dopo un lungo duello con Salminen.

Domino conquista per il secondo anno consecutivo il titolo di Super Campione nei Campionati Assoluti d'Italia Enduro 2011. Un successo che arriva grazie a Mika Ahola e il Team Honda-HM- Zanardo che, dopo aver conquistato in Francia il titolo della E3 nel mondiale, han vinto il 16 ottobre a Borno (BS) l’ultima prova della stagione tricolore. Ahola non avrebbe potuto sognare modo migliore per centrare il secondo titolo italiano assoluto: partito in sordina all'inizio di stagione, gara dopo gara, il cinque volte campione del mondo ha iniziato il suo straordinario recupero vincendo consecutivamente le ultime cinque giornate, fino a fare suo il titolo tricolore fin dalla

prima giornata della gara di Borno. Non si è trattato di un appuntamento facile, in quanto Ahola, per mettere al sicuro il risultato, ha dovuto stringere i denti sabato per tagliare il traguardo in prima posizione, in quanto ha riportato una violenta botta nella terza speciale in linea al tallone del piede destro. Questo gli ha impedito di prendere il via la domenica. Se Ahola ha regalato al Team Honda-HM-Zanardo l’ennesima grossa emozione di una stagione indimenticabile, va sottolineata anche la prova di tutti gli altri piloti della squadra. A cominciare da Rodrig Thain, sabato secondo nella classifica assoluta e domenica quarto. Con i punti guadagnati, Thain ha così completato il successo del Team Honda-HM-Zanardo nella classifica assoluta sui primi due gradini del podio.

Grande prova nella 450 4T per il giovane Edoardo D'ambrosio, che ha ottenuto un'incredibile doppia vittoria precedendo sempre il campione italiano Simone Albergoni. Sabato gli ha inflitto oltre venti secondi, domenica addirittura lo ha distanziato di mezzo minuto. D’Ambrosio ha così conquistato anche la seconda posizione nella classifica finale degli Assoluti d'Italia della classe 450 4T.

Terzo sabato, Alessio Paoli domenica ha ottenuto una splendida seconda posizione che gli ha consentito di terminare secondo nella classifica di campionato della 250 4T.

Ottima prova anche per Maurizio Facchin nella 500 4T. Il pilota trevigiano ha chiuso due volte in terza posizione riuscendo a fare sua la terza posizione finale nella classifica di campionato di questa classe.

“Sono felicissimo! È stata una gara molto difficile con tre prove speciali tecniche che ricalcavano quelle del GP d'Italia del 2007. Sono partito subito forte, anche se il mio compagno di squadra Rodrig Thain era davvero veloce. Poi sono riuscito a mettere un po’ di spazio tra di noi, ma al terzo giro ho picchiato col piede destro su alcune radici ed ho sentito un gran male al tallone. Mi sono spaventato, ma ho tenuto duro. È stato bello conquistare questo secondo titolo assoluto dopo la vittoria del mondiale della E3. Dedico questa vittoria a tutto il Team Honda-HM-Zanardo ed a tutti gli sponsor per avermi supportato in questa magnifica stagione”.

CAMPIONATO EUROPEO ENDURO: DOMINO, TOMMI E FANTIC CONQUISTANO IN FRANCIA IL TITOLO EUROPEO ENDURO

Weekend ricco di soddisfazioni quello del 18 settembre per Domino, Tommi e Fantic, che hanno conquistato a Riom es Montagnes, in Francia, il Titolo Europeo Enduro della classe Senior E3 con Maurizio Micheluz in una “tre giorni” spettacolare. Micheluz ha così riportato sul gradino più alto del podio il glorioso marchio italiano Fantic acquistato e rilanciato dall’imprenditore trevigiano Federico Fregnan, a trent’anni esatti dall’ultimo titolo continentale conquistato dalla Casa italiana nel 1981 con Gualtiero Brissoni.

CAMPIONATO ITALIANO TRIAL INDOOR: DOMINO CONQUISTA IL TITOLO NAZIONALE CON GRATTAROLA

Dopo il successo della penultima prova di campionato, dove Domino si era avvicinata ancora di più al titolo tricolore nel CITO, nella prima domenica di ottobre arriva il primo grande trionfo nel trial. Grazie alle straordinarie performance di Matteo Grattarola e del Team SPEA, Domino ha portato a casa il titolo nazionale nel CITI. Nell’ultima e sesta prova del Campionato Italiano Trial Indoor, corso a Lazzate (MB), Grattarola si è fermato ad un “semplice” poker di vittorie ma con questo ha conquistato il suo tricolore.

Secondo classificato Vaccaretti, in stretta lotta con Fabio Lenzi, del Future Trial Montesa, che con il quarto posto ha visto sfumare la piazza d’onore. Sul podio di giornata anche il pilota del BetaMotor Trial Team Daniele Maurino, che si è qualificato bene per la finalissima, per poi pagare scotto sulle ultime zone della stessa, che sono risultate molto impegnative per tutti.

CAMPIONATO ITALIANO TRIAL OUTDOOR: DOMINO CAMPIONE ITALIANO CITO 2011!

Dopo il grande successo nel CITI, il Campionato Italiano Trial Indoor, domenica 9 ottobre per Domino è arrivato un altro grande trionfo. Nell’ultima prova della stagione, disputata all’Aprica (SO), Matteo Grattarola, con il Team SPEA, ha conquistato il titolo tricolore nel CITO, il Campionato Italiano Trial Outdoor. Due volte campioni nazionali! Un fine settimana tutto da incorniciare, contraddistinto per il freddo pungente e l’inusuale presenza della neve, organizzato con serietà e massima dedizione dal Moto Club Valtellina.

Giunto all’Aprica con un consistente e tranquillizzante vantaggio, Grattarola non si è risparmiato, affrontando con la consueta grinta e determinazione le zone della prova conclusiva di un campionato che lo ha visto dominatore assoluto. Grande giornata anche per Fabio Lenzi, del Future Trial Montesa. Con una performance perfetta e senza sbavature, Fabio ha vinto la sua prima gara della stagione.

CAMPIONATO DEL MONDO SUPERBIKE: TRIPLETTA PER DOMINO

Con l’ultima gara prevista dal calendario, corsa a Portimao il 16 ottobre, Domino ha portato a termine un anno spettacolare. I piloti del Team Yamaha World Superbike hanno concluso la stagione con grande stile: Marco Melandri ha chiuso secondo nella classifica generale di campionato, mentre Eugene Laverty ha portato a casa un ottimo quarto posto con lo stesso identico numero di punti ottenuti dal Campione WSB 2010 Max Biaggi che, sempre con il Team Aprilia Alitalia Racing, in questa stagione ha invece concluso terzo. Settimo posto, invece, per il secondo pilota del Team Aprilia Leon Camier.

CAMPIONATO DEL MONDO CROSS: DOMINO E TOMMI GRANDI PROTAGONISTI DEL 2011 CON FROSSARD

6 podi di giornata, 15 di gara, di cui 7 consecutivi, una vittoria assoluta e infine la medaglia d’argento nella corsa al titolo iridato, dietro solo al campione Tonino Cairoli. Questo è il risultato che Steven Frossard, con il Team Monster Energy Yamaha, ha conquistato in quest’emozionante stagione del Campionato del Mondo Cross classe MX1. Un trionfo unico, che il pilota francese ha conquistato con aggressività e competitività. Un risultato straordinario, una performance da capogiro e un trionfo assoluto per il “Made in Italy” di Domino e Tommaselli.

ASSOLUTI D’ITALIA CROSS: DOMINO E TOMMI CAMPIONI ITALIANI CROSS MX1 E MX2

Un inizio di stagione davvero strepitoso per il binomio Domino- Tommaselli e il Team Yamaha Monster Energy MX che, con Steven Frossard, David Philippaerts e Gautier Paulin, hanno dominato i tricolori della MX1 e della MX2, conquistando la vetta del cross italiano. Il 23 marzo, a Gazzane Di Preseglie (BS), Frossard ha conquistato un secondo e un primo posto che lo hanno catapultato in vetta alla classifica di campionato con ben 640 punti. Un risultato senza precedenti per Domino e Tommaselli, che hanno lasciato la propria firma anche al secondo posto con Philippaerts.

Grande soddisfazione anche dalla MX2, dove Paulin ha conquistato il titolo iridato. Un trionfo assoluto che conferma l’alta competitività dei piloti del Team Yamaha Monster Energy MX e la qualità dei prodotti Domino-Tommaselli.

CAMPIONATO DEL MONDO SPEEDWAY: DOMINO CAMPIONE DEL MONDO CON GREG HANCOCK

Domino bissa il successo della scorsa stagione conquistando un altro titolo mondiale. Se il 2010 era stato un trionfo grazie alle straordinarie performance di Jason Crump, in questa stagione 2011 la conquista della vittoria assoluta arriva con Greg Hancock. Equipaggiato Domino e Tommaselli, sabato 24 settembre a Gorican (Croazia) lo statunitense è stato incoronato Campione del Mondo Speedway con una gara in anticipo. Abissale il distacco inflitto al secondo in classifica, lo svedese Andreas Jonsson.

COPPA ITALIA: DOMINO CAMPIONE TRICOLORE CON IL TEAM ITALIA GABRIELLI

Sul circuito lombardo di Franciacorta si è corsa domenica 4 settembre la sesta tappa stagionale della Coppa Italia. Una grande soddisfazione per Domino, che con quest’ultimo appuntamento ha portato a casa il titolo tricolore. La sfida riservata alla categoria due tempi ha visto andare in scena una splendida battaglia a due nel finale: protagonisti assoluti degli ultimi giri sono stati i portacolori del Team Italia Gabrielli, Manuel Pagliani e Michael Ruben Rinaldi. Il primo, scattato forte allo spegnimento del semaforo rosso, ha fatto subito il vuoto con il poleman Alessio Chessa, che dopo averlo superato e aver preso il comando della gara è stato poi sfortunato protagonista di una scivolata all’ottavo passaggio. Rimasto solo in vetta, il padovano

ha dovuto subire il ritorno di un Rinaldi in grande rimonta, che prima l’ha superato al sesto giro e che poi, dopo essere stato rallentato in occasione della scivolata di Lamberti ha dimostrato di volere la vittoria a tutti i costi: rientrato in “gioco”, ha stabilito il miglior giro della gara proprio all’ultima tornata (1’31”801) e grazie a questo crono ha raggiunto e superato di nuovo il pur bravo Pagliani, secondo, ed andando a conquistare un nuovo trionfo e dimostrando ancora una volta di meritare il titolo 2011.

“E’ stata una bella gara” – il commento di Rinaldi – “Non mi aspettavo di vincere perché partivo indietro a causa della mia assenza nel primo turno di prove e, invece, sono riuscito a rimontare. La caduta di Lamberti mi ha rallentato, ma poi ho dato il 100% e sono riuscito a centrare l’obiettivo”.

CIV 125 GP: DOMINO CAMPIONE ITALIANO VELOCITÀ CON ANTONELLI

Sul Circuito del Mugello, nell’ultima prova del Campionato Italiano Velocità, corsa il 23 ottobre, uno dei duelli più attesi della giornata era quello nella 125 GP, tra i due giovanissimi compagni di squadra del Team Italia Gabrielli Romano Fenati e Niccolò Antonelli. Quest’ultimo, quindicenne romagnolo e figlio d’arte, è arrivato all’ultima gara stagionale con soli tre punti di vantaggio sul coetaneo Fenati (fresco campione europeo) e in gara, dopo l’esposizione di due bandiere rosse e al termine di una splendida battaglia, è riuscito ad avere la meglio sul marchigiano solo al

fotofinish, per tre millesimi di secondo, portandosi a casa vittoria e titolo. Con questo successo Domino aggiunge al suo palmares un’altra grande soddisfazione.

CAMPIONATO EUROPEO VELOCITÀ: DOMINO CAMPIONE 125cc CON FENATI

Le soddisfazione per Domino non smettono di arrivare. Il 9 ottobre, sul Circuito spagnolo di Albacete, si è corsa la tappa unica del Campionato Europeo Velocità 2011. Dalla pole position è scattato il quindicenne Romano Fenati, portacolori del Team Italia Gabrielli, supportato Domino. Dopo aver dominato le prove ufficiali, il marchigiano è stato autore una partenza accorta alle spalle dell'iberico Alex Rins. Nei primi cinque giri, Romano è rimasto sulla sua scia ma poi ha rotto gli indugi, sorpassando lo spagnolo all'interno della quarta curva e portandosi al comando della gara. Un ritmo impressionante, sempre sul passo dell'1’34’’ basso (1’34’’140 il suo giro veloce e record della gara) ha

permesso all’alfiere azzurro di prendere giro dopo giro preziosi decimi di vantaggio sul diretto rivale, che anche grazie alla guida pulita ed efficace dell'italiano non è stato più capace di rispondere all'attacco. Dal settimo passaggio, il gap tra i due è salito progressivamente e Fenati ha controllato con relativa tranquillità la gara fino alla bandiera a scacchi, sotto la quale è passato con oltre due secondi di vantaggio su Rins. A completare la festa italiana al Campionato Europeo ci ha pensato il compagno di squadra di Fenati, Niccolò Antonelli. Il quindicenne romagnolo, tra i più veloci in pista, ha confermato quanto di buono fatto vedere nei due giorni di prove centrando un fantastico terzo posto che ha fatto sventolare alti due tricolori sul podio spagnolo. Partito in sordina, dal quinto giro in poi Antonelli ha iniziato una bella rimonta: superato Bagnaia con una manovra all'interno, il pilota del Team Italia Gabrielli ha fatto il vuoto lasciandosi alle spalle l'alfiere Derbi e il suo compagno di squadra Marquez e nel finale, grazie ad un gran ritmo, si è avvicinato alla seconda piazza di Rins sfiorata per un solo secondo. Complimenti ragazzi!

CAMPIONATO ALPE ADRIA 600: MICHELE CONTI ANCORA CAMPIONE!

Michele Conti è riuscito a farlo suo questo campionato. Con una stagione partita alla grande, arrivando ad avere 43 punti di vantaggio sugli inseguitori, ha poi continuato il resto della stagione con più “prudenza”. Con il quarto posto conquistato a fine agosto a Rijeka, in Croazia, è Michele è il nuovo campione internazionale della 600 supersport.

“È stata una bella stagione” – le prime parole di Michele al termine della gara – “Vincere il titolo significa che siamo stati i più bravi! Abbiamo fatto un ottimo lavoro, ma sono anche contento perché con questa moto mi sono divertito tanto. Grazie a tutti quelli che hanno reso possibile questo risultato, il team, i tecnici, e soprattutto tutti gli sponsor, come Domino, che continuano a credere in me”.

Domino presenta in anteprima una nuova serie di manopole bicolore appositamente studiate per moto destinate all’uso fuoristrada. Le nuove manopole sono state sviluppate in collaborazione con i maggiori Team del cross e dell'enduro e vengono prodotte impiegando mescole di gomme termoplastiche di avanzata concezione. Si distinguono per la straordinaria morbidezza in grado di assicurare un grip elevatissimo unito ad una presa ergonomica e confortevole. La parte centrale dell'impugnature presenta un profilo "a botte" per ottimizzare la presa in tutte le condizioni tipiche delle gare. Sulla flangia è inoltre presente un cuscinetto di nuova concezione, in materiale più morbido, per rendere confortevole la presa e l'appoggio delle dita sulla flangia durante la conduzione. Per l’impiego agonistico sono infine previste tre cave lungo la manopole per il fissaggio di sicurezza mediante un fine filo di ferro. La manopola è lunga 120 mm ed è adatta ai comandi gas fuoristrada della serie Domino.

COMANDO GAS XM2 VERSIONE ORO

Domino presenta la versione con supporto oro del comando XM2 adatto alle più famose moto sportive. Progettato con la collaborazione dei migliori team della classe Moto2, come la versione attuale con supporto nero, è un comando gas in lega leggera di alluminio con la particolarità di avere le viterie in titanio che garantiscono leggerezza e tenuta. Il comando gas XM2 è venduto con corredo di 3 ghiere con le seguenti caratteristiche tecniche: la ghiera bianca con apertura di 55° per una guida normale, la ghiera rossa con apertura progressiva a 53° per una guida sportiva ed una ghiera verde con apertura a 60° per una guida sul bagnato. Disponibile da gennaio 2012, il comando gas XM2 versione oro è fornito sia con la manopola bicolore nero/rossa cod. 3846.03, sia

MANOPOLE ON-ROAD XM2 DOUBLE SUPER SOFT

Le manopole Domino XM2 DOUBLE SUPER SOFT Sono state sviluppate sulle piste del Campionato Mondiale MotoGP in collaborazione con il Team San Carlo Honda Gresini. Vengono prodotte utilizzando un’avanzata mescola di materiali termoplastici. Si distinguono per la straordinaria morbidezza in grado di assicurare un grip elevatissimo unito ad una presa ergonomica e confortevole. Le nuove manopole stradali sono dotate di una specifica fascia dentata ad anelli in corrispondenza della flangia per incrementare il grip e venature trasversali per adattarsi alla presa. La manopola è lunga 126 mm, ma è facilmente adattabile anche a comandi gas con lunghezze inferiori di 3 mm mediante la semplice eliminazione del collarino. Per l’impiego agonistico sono previste cave lungo la manopola del comando gas e della frizione per il fissaggio di sicurezza mediante un fine filo di ferro.

Le manopole Domino XM2 DOUBLE SUPER SOFT sono perfettamente adattabili anche a maxi scooter come il T MAX – YAMAHA. . Seguendo le semplici istruzioni allegate alla confezione l’operazione di montaggio risulterà intuitiva, immediata ed il risultato sarà ottimale.

In un mondo che sente sempre più una coscienza ambientale e in un mercato dove si punta sempre più sui veicoli elettrici, all’EICMA 2011, in assoluta anteprima, Domino presenta il nuovo acceleratore elettronico potenziometrico per scooter con nuovo frutto elettronico. Prodotto nato dall’evoluzione della famiglia degli attuali acceleratori elettrici, questo nuovo prodotto presenta la novità dell’introduzione di un nuovo tasto elettronico SET (tasto grigio), da utilizzarsi per numerose funzioni elettroniche aggiuntive ( per esempio: MODE, SCROLL, ABS). A richiesta, il tasto elettronico è personalizzabile ed è anche disponibile retroilluminato. Il nuovo comando elettrico prevede l’introduzione di un nuovo potenziometro da 5K Ohms e con grado di protezione IP 54. La durata minima garantita del comando elettrico è di 350.000 cicli. The French Grand Prix on October 1st and 2nd raced in Mende, in France, valid as eighth and final round of the 2011 Enduro World Championship was a weekend full of extraordinary emotions for Tommi, that with Honda-HM-Zanardo Team is E3 class World Champion with Mika Ahola and EJ World Champion with Jeremy Joly. For Tommi this is the fifth consecutive title after the two won in 2007 and 2010 in E2, and the other two conquered in 2008 and 2009 in E1 class, always with Ahola.

Honda-HM Zanardo Team and Ahola won with heart in a season all to framed. Since Saturday, when Ahola conquered the victory of the day and also the title, the race was filled with moments of struggle, emotions, plot twists and spectacular performance by a super rider as Ahola is. The victory of Jeremy Joly was not an easy. On Saturday he finished second after a struggle with Romain Dumontier, who allowed him to take an advantage of eight points on the Spanish Mario Roman. While on Sunday Joly conquered the EJ title, thanks to a stunning second place. To complete the successes of Honda-HM Zanardo Team contributed Rodrig Thain too. Fourth in the final standings of E1 class, on Saturday he had to be satisfied of the fourth position, redeeming on Sunday with a great victory after a long battle with Salminen.

For the second consecutive year Domino won the title of Supreme Champion in the 2011 Enduro Italian Championship. This succes arrive thanks to Mika Ahola and Honda-HM-Zanardo Team: after the conquest of the word E3 title, this weekend in Borno (BS), they won the last test of the sporting season. Ahola would not dreamed a best way to conquer his second Italian title: started quietly at the beginning of the season, race after race he began an extraordinary recovery winning the last five consecutive round, until the race of yesterday in Borno.

It was not an easy test: to conquer the Italian title, on Saturday Ahola had to finish first, despite a bad blow to the right foot’s heel. But this accident prevented him from taking off on Sunday. Starting with Rodrig Thain, second on Saturday and fourth on Sunday. With this points, Thain completed the success of Honda- HM-Zanardo Team in the Italian standing, going up the second step of the podium.

Great performance in 450 4T class for the young Edoardo D’Ambrosio, who won an incredible double victory ahead of the Italian champion Simone Albergoni. On Saturday he inflicted more than twenty seconds and on Sunday distanced him even half a minute. D'Ambrosio earned the second place in the final ranking in 450 4T class.

“I'm excited! It was a strong race with three special techniques test, that follow those of the Italian Grand Prix in 2007. I started well, even if my teammate Rodrig Thain was really fast. Then I managed to put some space between us, but on the third lap I hit some roots with my right foot and I felt pain to the heel. I was scared, but I sticked out. It was nice to win this second title after the one of E3. I dedicate this victory to Honda-HM-Zanardo Team and all the sponsor that supported me in this season”.

On September 18th was a weekend full of satisfaction for Domino, Tommi and Fantic. On Sunday, in Riom es Montagnes, in France, Maurizio Micheluz conquered the Enduro European Title of E3 Senior class in a “three days” really spectacular. Micheluz brought again Fantic to the highest step of the podium. A success for the glorious Italian brand re-launched by Federico Fregnan, exactly thirty years after the last European title won by the Italian brand with Walter Brissoni in 1981.

TRIAL INDOOR ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP: DOMINO CONQUERS THE NATIONAL TITLE WITH GRATTAROLA

After the success in the next to last round, when Domino was really close to the CITO national title, in the first weekend of October arrived the first triumph in the trial specialty. Thank to the extraordinary performance of Matteo Grattarola, of SPEA Team, Domino brought back home the national title in the CITI. In the last and sixth round of the Italian Indoor Trial Championship, raced in Lazzate (MB), Grattarola made him a poker of victories.

After the huge success in the CITI, the Italian Indoor Trial Championship, on Sunday 9th October Domino conquered another great triumph. In the last race of the season, raced in Aprica (SO), Matteo Grattarola with SPEA Team, won the national title in the CITO, the Italian Outdoor Trial Championship. Two times national champions!

A weekend to frame, marked by the cold and the unusual presence of the snow, organized with dedication and professionalism by the Moto Club Valtellina. Arrived in Aprica with a consistent advantage, Grattarola faced the last competition with grit and determination, the same of the other races, where he always has been the dominator. Great day for Fabio Lenzi too, with Future Trial Montesa. With a perfect performance without mistakes, Fabio won his first race of the season.

SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: TRIPLE VICTORY FOR DOMINO

With the final race of the championship, raced on October 16th at Portimao, Domino completed a spectacular year. Yamaha World Superbike Team riders finished the season with great results: Marco Melandri finished second in the world standing, while Eugene Laverty brought back home an excellent fourth place with the same points obtained in 2010 by the WSB Champion Max Biaggi. In this season, always with Aprilia Alitalia Racing Team, he finished third. Seventh place for the second Aprilia rider Leon Camier.

If 2010 was a triumph thanks to the extraordinary performance of Jason Crump, in this 2011 season, the conquest of the title comes with Greg Hancock. ITALIAN CUP: DOMINO ITALIAN CHAMPIONS WITH TEAM ITALIA GABRIELLI

On Sunday 4th at the circuit of Franciacorta was race the sixth seasonal round of the Italian Cup. A great satisfaction for Domino, that with this last race brought back home the national title. The challenge was between the two protagonists of Team Italy Gabrielli riders Manuel Pagliani and Michael Ruben Rinaldi. The first, started with decision at the green light, make the difference on the poleman Alessio Chessa.

Alone at the top, the rider from Padua had to fight with Rinaldi, who made a perfect recover, and demonstrate his desire to conquer the victory. He recorde his best lap in the last lap of the race: with the incredible time of 1'31 "801 he reached and passed Pagliani, finally second, going to conquer a new victory and the 2011 Italian Title.

On October 23rd, at Mugello Circuit, one of the most anticipated fights of the day was the one in 125 GP, between the two young teammates of Team Italia Gabrielli Romano Fenati and Niccolò Antonelli. This one, fifteen year old from Romagna, reached the final race of the season with only three points ahead of Fenati (2011 European Champion) and during the race, after two red flags and a great battle, managed to get the better with only three-thousandths of a second, bringing back home the day victory and the title.

With this success Domino adds another great satisfaction to its palmares.

ROAD RACING EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP: DOMINO 125cc CHAMPION WITH FENATI

The satisfaction for Domino never stop to come. On October 9th, at the Spanish Circuit of Albacete, was raced the unique competition of the 2011 Road Racing European Championship. From the pole position started the fifteen years old Romano Fenati, rider of Team Italia Gabrielli, supported by Domino. After the domination of the qualifying practice, he was the author of a good start, behind the Spanish Alex Rins. In the sixth lap Romano passed the Spanish, taking the command of the race. An impressive pace (his the record of 1’34’’140) allowed him to take a good advantage on the other riders. Since seventh lap, the gap between the two one increased progressively and Fenati

controlled the race until the checkered flag, under which passed with over two seconds from Rins. To complete the Italian party there was his teammate Niccolò Antonelli. Fifteen year old from Romagna, he was one of the fastest on the track, confirmed the good pace showed in the two days of practice, ended with a great third place on the Spanish podium. ALPE ADRIA 600CHAMPIONSHIP: MICHELE CONTI STILL CHAMPION!

Michele Conti made his this championship. With a season started in the best way, with 43 points of advantage on his adversaries, raced the season with prudence. With the fourth place conquered at the end of August in Rijeka, Croatia, Michele is the new 600 Supersport International Champion.

At EICMA 2011 Domino introduces a new grip specific for off- road bikes.

This new grip has been developed in cooperation with the main cross and enduro Teams and it is produced by using a highly advanced mix of thermoplastic materials. It stands out for its extraordinary softness assuring a very high ergonomic and comfortable hand grip. The central part of the grip has a “barrel” profile to get the best hand grip under all the race conditions. On the flange there is also a new-concept pad made of a softer material to allow a comfortable hand grip and the fingers rest on the flange while riding. For competition, it is provided with 3 seats for the safety fastening iron wire. The grip is 120 mm long and suitable for Domino off-road throttle controls.

The new Domino off-road grip will be available starting from February 2012 in the following five colour combinations:

XM2 THROTTLE CONTROL – GOLD VERSION

Domino introduces the version of XM2 throttle control with gold painted body, suitable for the most famous sports bikes.

Developed in cooperation with Moto2 best teams, like the present version with black body, it is a throttle control in light aluminium alloy with the peculiarity of the titanium bolts and screws granting lightness and holding. It is supplied with 3 rings with the following specifications: the white ring with 55° opening for a normal riding, the red ring with 53° progressive opening for a sporting riding and the green ring with 60°opening for a riding on the wet ground. The XM2 throttle control with gold body will be available starting from January 2012 and supplied either with the two-colour black- red grips ref. 3846.03 and without grips ref. 3847.03.

Along with the XM2 throttle control it is possible to buy the following throttle cables:

Domino recommends the use of the XM2 throttle control on the tracks and private roads closed to traffic only.

ON-ROAD XM2 DOUBLE SUPER SOFT GRIPS

These grips have been developed on the tracks of the MotoGP World Championship in cooperation with San Carlo Honda Gresini Team and they are produced by using an advanced mix of thermoplastic materials. They have an extraordinary softness assuring a very high ergonomic and comfortable hand grip. These road grips are provided with a specific knurling near the flange to increase the hand grip and diagonal lines to suit it. They are 126 mm long, but they can be also easily fitted to 3 mm shorter throttle controls by removing the front flange. For competition, they are provided with some seats for the safety fastening iron wire. Domino XM2 DOUBLE SUPER SOFT grips can be perfectly fitted to maxi-Scooter vehicles, like Yamaha T-Max.

By following the simple instructions of the manual supplied with the grips packaging, the fitment is quick and easy and the result is great.

Domino road grips are available in the following six colour combinations:

TOMMASELLI INTRODUCES THE NEW HSA BAROZZI HANDLEBAR

The new cross and enduro HSA “Barozzi” handlebar by Tommaselli is in Ergal and stands out for its extraordinary resistance. Improved in its geometry by the champion Alberto Barozzi through repeated tests to get a product of good quality and riding balance, this new handlebar ensures the right comfort in its applications. It is light, easy to carry and allows a natural riding position without any stress. The very new controls positioning system enables the rider to place the clutch and brake levers in the most correct and easiest way, through proper marks printed on the handlebar. The new HSA Barozzi handlebar with variable diameter is Tommaselli patented and fully “Made in Italy”. It has passed the most severe tests in the laboratory and on the tracks. ELECTRIC ACCELERATOR WITH POTENTIOMETER FOR SCOOTER

In a world where the people are becoming more and more environmental aware and the market more and more electric vehicle oriented, at EICMA 2011, Domino displays the new electronic accelerator with potentiometer for scooter with a new electronic switch. It is an evolution of the present electric accelerators with the peculiarity of a new SET electronic switch (grey knob) to be used for different additional electronic functions (MODE, SCROLL, ABS etc.). On demand, the electronic switch can be customized and is available backlighted too. The new electric control has a new potentiometer with 5K Ohms and IP 54 protection degree. The minimum guaranteed life of the electric control is 350.000 actions. On demand, it is also possible to have an inner safety switch for the throttle closing.

Abreast with the times and the fervish activity of the modern-day life, besides the electric accelerator for scooter, at EICMA 2011 Domino displays the universal electric throttle control with a new design to be fitted to the handlebars or half-handlebars of the electric bikes. The peculiarity of the new electric accelerator is given by the highly reduced weight and overall dimensions. Moreover this product can be used together with the traditional electric switches. The new electric control has a new potentiometer with 5K Ohms and IP 54 protection degree. The minimum guaranteed life of the electric control is 350.000 actions. On demand, it is also possible to have an inner safety switch for the throttle closing driven by the throttle tube directly.

KIT OF UNIVERSAL CABLE BENDS FOR DOMINO XM2 THROTTLE CONTROLS

The new kit of cable bends ref. 97.555.04 has been properly studied to enable the end user or the mechanic to make one’s throttle cables to fit to Domino XM2 throttle controls ref. 5176.03, 5182.03, 3846.03 and 3847.03.

For the kit fitment it is advisable to go to qualified mechanics. This kit can be used on tracks and for competitive sport only.
