Minimum Bid: $25 Michael Todd's Peep Show was an American musical revue which opened at Broadway’s Winter Garden Theatre on June 28 1950, and successfully ran for 278 performances before closing in February 1951. The cover design of this highly collectible program features a die cut keyhole, prominently featuring the image of burlesque star Lilly Christine in her Broadway debut! Lilly Christine, a.k.a. "The Cat Girl," was a famous burlesque exotic dancer and men's magazine model of the late 1940s through the early 1960s, with a mesmerizing stage presence, a wild mane of long peroxide blonde hair, and a voluptuous, bombshell body. Minimum Bid: $5 Here is a vintage program souvenir of Earl Carroll’s Theatre-Restaurant in Hollywood, filled with gorgeous shots of the glamorous girls who participated in his spectacular stage revue. It was a box-office smash and ran for an unprecedented 2,212 performances, later enjoying award- winning revivals, national tours, foreign productions and an Oscar-winning 1955 film adaptation. Rodgers & Hammerstein won a special Pulitzer Prize for Oklahoma! in 1944.
