On behalf of The Cape Club team we extend a warm welcome to you prior to your arrival. Our goal is to make your time at the club the best possible. To assist with your visit preparation, we put together this page to answer some of the more frequently asked questions. Have fun and play well.

Bag Drop: Upon arrival to the club we recommend that all golfers utilize our Bag Drop. It is located in the rear of the club behind the main Clubhouse. Drive all the way through the parking lot, keeping the golf course on your left and the clubhouse on your right. There are signs to guide you. Drop your bag and activate the buzzer system to let us know you are leaving a bag. You may park your vehicle in the lot you originally drove through on your way to the Bag Drop.

Golf Dress Code: Proper golf attire should be worn at all times on the practice range, practice greens and golf course. In this day and age, golf attire is evolving quickly.  Please avoid all denim regardless of color  We ask that men remove their caps when entering the clubhouse  We ask that men wear collared shirts (no t-shirts)…mock turtlenecks are considered collars  Bottoms (shorts, skirts and skorts) for both men and women should be no shorter than “mid-thigh” length  Cargo shorts and/or pants are not permitted  Gym shorts and sweat pants are not permitted  Please remember…just because the attire is allowed at the pool or on the tennis court doesn’t mean it’s appropriate for the golf facilities

Cell Phones: Cellular devices are allowed. We only ask that you not distract other members and guests.

Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the clubhouse at any time. You are welcome to smoke outside at any time. Please be sure to dispose of the waste properly and be mindful of the damage a lit cigar and/or cigarette can do to a golf cart, the course or the grounds.

Golf Carts: The Cape Club of Sharon permits the use of both ride and push carts. We do NOT allow members and guests to bring their own carts. We have a fleet of vehicles you may rent for your round. Members and guests can walk the course at any time.

Practice Area: Guests are welcome to use our practice facilities before their round. When playing The Cape Club of Sharon as part of an outing, we invite you to practice up to an hour prior to the start of you round.
