Just like the sun's rays, radiant heating produces a soft and enveloping warmth. The air is not dried out or moved around by the heat, which creates a more comfortable environment. Radiant heating warms objects and people rather than the surrounding air, so it generates warmth and comfort at lower temperatures. This results in lower heating bills. How radiant heat works

We have all tried to make the most of the sun's warm rays on days when it seems the thermometer won't bedge. Even if the air temperature is the same in the shade, it always feels warmer in the sun.

Our radiant heaters mimic the natural warming effect found in nature.

Types of radiation

DIRECT Perceptible feeling of heat, like the sun's rays.

DIFFUSE Objects exchange heat between them to distribute the heat evenly.

COMBINED An object hot enough to emit direct radiant heat also emits diffuse heat.

The Opera series – A winning combination!

Radiant heaters in the Opera series combine two types of heating to provide you with the best of both worlds: 1- The comfort of radiant heat. 2- The efficiency of effective convection.

Products catalog • www.convectaircanada.com 13 Opera radiant convectors offer a stunning blend of aes- Opera thetics, technology, and energy efficiency. To significantly save on energy, choose from one of the preset programs, Radiant Convector customize your own, or let the absence detector take care of lowering the temperature for you! The open-window detection feature also avoids wasting energy by stopping the heater when a sudden influx of cold air is detected.
