The study is conducted by case approach which is one of the qualitative research patterns. The sample of the study consists of local administrators, tradesmen, archaeologists and religious representatives. The data obtained from face-to-face, semi structured interviews from shareholders was analysed by the “Content Analysis Method” through the Nvivo 8 qualitative data editing program. Four categories and 37 codes were used to examine the Faith Tourism Potential of Tarsus which was included in 1993 among the sacred sites of Christians as recommended by the Ministry of Tourism and Vatican.     “Outlaw Pete”: Bruce Springsteen and the Dream-Work of Cosmic American Music Peter J. Fields Midwestern State University Abstract During the 2006 Seeger Sessions tour, Springsteen shared his deep identification with the internal struggle implied by old spirituals like “Jacob’s Ladder.” While the Magic album seemed to veer wide of the Seeger Sessions ethos, Working on a Dream re-engages mythically with what Greil Marcus would call “old, weird America” and Gram Parsons deemed “cosmic American music.” Working suggests the universe operates according to “cosmic” principles of justice, judgment, and salvation, but is best understood from the standpoint of what Freud would call “dream work” and “dream thoughts.” As unfolded in Frank Caruso’s illustrations for the picturebook alter ego of Working‘s “Outlaw Pete,” these dynamics may allude to Springsteen’s conflicted relationship with his father. The occasion of the publication in December 2014 of a picturebook version of Bruce Springsteen’s “Outlaw Pete,” the first and longest song on the album Working on a Dream (2009), offers Springsteen scholars and fans alike a good reason to revisit material that, as biographer Peter Ames Carlin remarks, failed in the spring American tour of that year to “light up the arenas.”1 When the Working on a Dream tour opened in April 2009 in San Jose, at least Copyright © Peter Fields, 2016.     Povzdech a nádech Přestože to v průběhu uplynulého roku vypadalo, že se fanoušci Queen postupně rozštěpí na dvě části - milovníky a odpůrce nového hudebního projektu stárnou- editorial cích rockerů a mladičkého účastníka talentové soutěže, s uplynulou dobou se podstata sporu zdá být nepodstatná. Internetové diskuze vychladly, fanoušci po- stupně zapomněli. Možná až překvapivě rychle zapomněli. Ze zpětného pohledu se dokonce celá spolupráce Queen a Adama Lamberta zdá být jaksi nevýznamnou. I v mé mysli jsou aktuální vzpomínky pomalu překrývány zážitky o mnoho silnější- mi, tedy z turné v roce 2008. Že by to celé byl prostě omyl, šlápnutí vedle? Já jsem rozhodně nepatřil k těm, kteří projekt odsuzovali. Stále zastávám názor, že výběr zpěváka je čistě na Brianovi s Rogerem a koncert v Polsku, kterého jsem se účast- nil, jsem si náležitě užil - po třech letech se konečně zase něco dělo. Leč ubíhající měsíce dávají spíše za pravdu kritikům projektu. Žádné nové zprávy o pokračování spolupráce se neobjevují. Brian, Roger a Adam se po šestici koncertů vrátili ke svojí práci a nastalo dlouhé, hluboké ticho. Nic nenaznačuje tomu, že by spolupráce mohla přerůst v projekt srovnatelný tím s Paulem Rodgersem. Možná pánové May a Taylor pochopili, že Lambert není tím pravým, možná nepřeskočila ona pověstná jiskra, možná dali za pravdu kritikům, možná mají moc jiné práce, možná jsou již moc staří a nebo prostě nechtějí... Vraťme se teď však v myšlenkách do letních dnů roku 2012 a připomeňme si tento kontroverzní projekt na stránkách našeho magazínu. ■ Po skončení Vzpomínky na Queen jejíž hlavním hostem byla Freddieho sestra Kashmira, jsem si říkal, že tohle byl absolutní vrchol.

    A watch fit for a Rock Star I am currently off work with a broken shoulder having crashed my mountain bike into a tree at speed! While away from the office I have being trying hard to occupy myself. I have learned to type pretty quickly with my left hand and have written this investigation, that I hope provides a good hit at a question I have seen asked and discussed loosely a few times over the years. What is the Seiko Diver worn by Brian May of Queen in the 1986 Magic Tour and often seen on his wrist since then? This all started when I sat down and watched the Wembley gig a few weeks ago. It was performed in 1986 as part of the ‘A Kind of Magic Tour’ I could clearly see that Brian was wearing a Seiko diver on a rubber strap. After watching this gig, I watched a few others I have and found that in earlier shows he either has no watch on, or something that is clearly not a Seiko. The next move was to search the forums to see if the question had been asked before, which it had been. Various answers were given; 6309 like Mick Jagger’s, SKX007, 7548 and a few others to mention besides, but all that I read were guesses and assumptions. So, with no definitive research to confirm the exact model, I set out trying to establish the evidence. The first job was to search for good close up photographs, of which there are very few; they are normally of Brian or his guitar, not his watch – Well guitar is his forte! The first good one I found helped massively, it is a black and white shot taken sometime in the 90’s/00’s I think.

Herkesin dinlendirici ve canlandırıcı bir yaz tatili geçirdiğini, aileleri ve sevdikleriyle bol bol zaman geçirme fırsatı bulduğunu umuyorum. Herkese geçen yılki üstün çabalarınızdan dolayı teşekkür ediyorum. Öğrencilerimiz üst düzeyde başarılar kazanmaya devam ederken okulumuz da dev mesafeler kat ederek gelişiyor. 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılına şimdiden başarılı bir giriş yapıyoruz. Öncelikle, uzun yıllardır okulumuza gelen en büyük (ve akademik başarıları en yüksek) hazırlık sınıfı öğrencilerini karşılayacağız. Okul mevcudumuz da artmaya devam ediyor (sadece iki yılda %23'lük bir artışla). Hedefimiz, bu yeni öğrencilerimizin TAC hayatına sorunsuz bir geçiş yapmaları ve onları önümüzdeki yıllarda karşılaşacakları iki dilde eğitimin ve üniversiteye hazırlık sürecinin zorlu şartlarına hazırlamaktır. Bu büyük hazırlık sınıfının gelişi ile birlikte aynı zamanda yatılı öğrenci kontenjanı açısından şimdiye kadarki en yüksek rakama ulaşmış oluyoruz. Bu yıl yeni öğrencilerimizin yanı sıra 18 yeni öğretmenimizi de TAC ailesine ekliyoruz. Öğrencilerimizin hayatlarında önemli farklar yaratacak bu yeni gruptaki her bir öğretmeni zaman içerisinde daha iyi tanıma fırsatı edinmeyi umuyorum.
