Once covered by the dirt and grime from mill chimneys, Bury Sport and Physical Activity now back to their former glory, these 90 square miles of outstanding historical Service and environmental interest can be enjoyed by all. Sunday 5 March, 1.30pm A lovely countryside walk full of historical interest, passing through Hollymount, Bottoms Hall, then climbing steeply up and across Turton road before walking through the fields to then follow the Roman road to West Pennine Way – Peel West Pennine Way – Affetside, returning through the Two Brooks Tower to Greenmount Affetside to Jumbles Valley.
