An alien who has been permitted to have residence in the Kingdom and holds Residence Certificate or Alien Registration book 2. An alien who has been granted to have residency in the Kingdom under special circumstances 3. Foreign nationals of Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia who enter the Kingdom with work purposes and have work permit document. *** An alien who has been permitted a temporary stay in the Kingdom, he or she can also request to add his/her name and personal information (register) into Civil Registration database if needed. In case that you fall into a category 1 or 2 above, you can register by adding your name and personal particulars into a House Registration book (Tabien Baan). In case that you fall into a category 3 above, you will be registered in a Personnel Record for Non - Thai national (Tabien Pra wat). PAGE 4 What is What is House House Registration book Registration (Tabien Baan)? book (Tabien Baan)? House Registration book (Tabien Baan) means a registration of each house that shows a house number and the list of all residents living in a house. It is an evidence of a person official residence. *** House Registration book (Tabien Baan) is not the proof for the house ownership. House Registration book (Tabien Baan) can be issued by Provincial Administration agencies, in Bangkok at District Office (Samnak ngan khet) and in other provinces at District Office (Amphur), Municipality Office, or the City of Pattaya (depend on the area you live). Ror. 14 (ท.ร.14) For listing the information of Thai national and alien who hold Residence Certificate or Alien Registration Book. Yellow House Registration book = Thor. Ror. 13 (ท.ร.13) For listing the information of alien who receives permission to stay temporary in Thailand. Personnel Record for Non - Thai national (Tabien Pra wat) For registering details of foreign nationals of Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia who enter the Kingdom with work purposes and have work permit document. In Bangkok, if you want register yourself into Civil Registration database (adding name in a House Registration book/a Personnel Record) , you have to go to the District Office (Registration Section) where the house is located. *** Contact in person. REGISTER INTO A HOUSE REGISTRATION BOOK (TABIEN BAAN) 1.1 For Non - Thai national who holds Residence Certificate or Alien Registration Book or who has been legally permitted to reside in the Kingdom upon the immigration laws or laws upon nationality. Documents required /evidences House Registration book [Thor. Ror. 14 (ท.ร.14)] *** the one to be added; Residence Certificate or Alien Registration Book or Certificate issued by the government agency as certification of permitting to reside in the Kingdom of the person who requests for adding name; Photos of applicant; Head of the household; and A witness, a reliable person who can make authentication Additional documents required /evidences (if any) Evidences issued by the government agencies e.g. educational/military documents, student registration. REGISTER INTO A HOUSE REGISTRATION BOOK (TABIEN BAAN) 1.2 For Non - Thai national who has been granted to have residency in the Kingdom under special circumstances. Documents required /evidences House Registration book [Thor. Ror. 14 (ท.ร.14)] *** the one to be added; Personal authentication evidence of the controlling agency or evidence issued by the applicant’s country e.g. passport; Photos of applicant; Head of the household; and A witness, a reliable person who can make authentication 1.3 For Non - Thai national who holds a passport to enter into Thailand and granted duration of stay in the kingdom is still not completed. Ror. 14 (ท.ร.14)] *** the one to be added; Passport of the applicant; Photos of applicant; Head of the household; and A witness, a reliable person who can make authentication Additional documents required /evidences (if any) Evidences issued by the government agencies e.g. educational/military documents, student registration. Register into a Personnel Record for Non - Thai national (Tabien Prawat) For foreign nationals of Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia who enter the Kingdom with work purposes and he or she has work permit document. The address in the applicant’s Personnel Record for Non - Thai national (Tabien Prawat) will be the address of the employer’s house or the applicant workplace. Documents required /evidences Passport of the applicant; Work permit document; House Registration book [Thor. Ror. 14 (ท.ร.14)] *** the one to be added (the House Registration book of the employer or the applicant workplace); Head of the household; and A witness, a reliable person who can make authentication PAGE 10 Non-ThaNion-Thai Identification card Identification card PAGE 11 Non-Thai Identification card Non -Thai national must have a “Non-Thai ID card” within 60 days after registering him/herself in a House Registration book (Tabien Baan), or a Personnel Record for Non - Thai national (Tabien Prawat). ***For a person under the age of 5, the identification document will be issued as a substitute document.
