    Nebraska Post-Game Notes Nebraska vs. Rutgers, Oct. 25, 2014 Nebraska improved to 7-1 on the season and 3-1 in Big Ten Conference play. The 7-1 record marks the Huskers’ first 7-1 record through eight games since 2011. Nebraska is 3-1 in conference play for the fifth straight season.Nebraska improved to 5-0 at home this season and has won 11 of 14 Big Ten home games since joining the conference in 2011. Nebraska senior I-back Ameer Abdullah rushed 19 times for 225 yards and three touchdowns. Abdullah’s 225 rushing yards marked his fourth 200-yard rushing game of the season (Florida Atlantic, Miami, Illinois, Rutgers) all at Memorial Stadium. His four 200-yard rushing games this season ties the Nebraska season record, matching Mike Rozier’s four 200-yard rushing games in 1983. Abdullah has five career 200-yard rushing games. Abdullah’s 225 rushing yards marked his 23rd career 100-yard rushing game, and his sixth of the 2014 season. Abdullah’s 23 100-yard rushing games are the most in the nation and the second-most in NU history, trailing Mike Rozier’s 26 career 100-yard rushing games. With his 225 rushing yards, Abdullah increased his season rushing total to 1,249 yards, moving him into the No. 13 on the NU single-season rushing list, including second among senior seasons. Abdullah increased his career rushing total to 4,226 yards, moving him within 554 yards of Mike Rozier’s Nebraska career record of 4,780 rushing yards.
