Friday, April 16, 2021 - 1:00 PM - Notta Ranch, Neilburg, SK Welcome to the 2021 Supreme Speckle Park Sale 2021 Friday, April 16, 2021 - 1:00 PM - Notta Ranch, Neilburg, SK Welcome to the 2021 Supreme Speckle Park Sale. We’d like to thank the past bidders and buyers for the support of our program. Notta Ranch, along with, Spots ‘N Sprouts are excited to have Jesse Waldner and Back Country Ranch join us at this year’s sale. If you are new to our sale format you’re in for an experience you won’t soon forget, we are the original Speckle Park on farm sale. The way the sale families work together out back to get the cattle ready to run live through the ring creates an exciting atmosphere that you’ll want to see in person. We have worked hard over the years to create cattle with our breed’s longevity in mind. Our strict culling process is a true attribute to the success of our customers. To say that last year hasn’t been challenging would be an understatement. We all have had to learn resilience and adjust in ways unimaginable. For us as a family, we took the COVID lockdown as an opportunity to come together even more. We are so grateful for the agriculture industry for giving us reason to keep moving forward everyday. We focused on guiding and teaching our daughters even more about the industry even among these uncertain times. Sara and I are confident we have used this time wisely and are secure in knowing this is the first of many generations to carry on and continue building what we have started. We are extremely excited about the bulls on offer this year. Proven pedigrees always seem to rise to the top. Building these cattle has been a passion for us and to see the outcome of our commitment to quality makes it both rewarding and humbling. These special individuals have raised the bar Hosted By... and will continue to take the breed to new heights. Our bulls have been developed on hay and a backgrounding pellet. This insures that the bulls are not over fed and will have exceptional foot quality. We purposely breed cattle to be attractive, sound and functional. Here’s to a great sale, breeding Notta Ranch season to all and positive times ahead as the world rebounds from a tough year. Jason and Sara Goodfellow Box 307, Neilburg, SK S0M 2C0 — Jason and Sara P: 780-872-8788 • E: [email protected] • W: www.nottaranch.com SALE PARTNERS... It is sale time again and we are happy to say we have the largest and most consistent group of two year old bulls on offer this year that we’ve ever had. We must warn you though, this will be your last chance to add a Custom Chrome bull or heifer to your herd. Custom Chrome has given us some great offspring but he’s now been shipped. If anyone wishes to stop by the farm to look at our offering before sale day you are more than welcome to do so. We were happy with the large group of heifers we had to pick from for the sale. We guarantee they will be palpated and open on sale day. We were fortunate to have Ravenworth Cattle, Gary and Donna Berting and Family, from Middle Lake as sale partners for several years but they have Spots ‘N Sprouts now put together a Speckle Park/Angus Sale closer to home. We will miss you Gary and Donna but wish you all the best at your Momentum Sale on Speckle Parks April 9 at St. Denis. John and Dale Herbert We welcome some new blood to our sale this year. We have Bruce, Deb, and Cory Schapansky as well as Jesse Waldner joining us as guest consigners. Steve, Amy, Brayden and Carter Herbert We wish these reputable breeders all the best on sale day. Once again we wish to thank Notta Ranch for hosting the sale and T Bar C for the excellent job they do of managing it. We wish all the contributors and buyers another good sale day on Friday, April 16. Box 399, Neilburg, SK S0M 2C0 — John and Dale P: 306-893-4096 • C: 306-893-7520 E: [email protected] • W: www.spotsnsproutsspecklepark.com GUEST CONSIGNORS... We are excited to be invited into the Supreme Speckle Park Bull & Female Sale. We have up for auction four of our best heifers along with one great two-year-old bull. We purchased our first Speckle Park cows in the spring of 2018, but we are no strangers to the livestock industry. My wife Debbie and I have been running Bruce Schapansky Auctioneers for over 33 years. Our son Cory manages Schapansky Trucking, hauling equipment across western Canada. Cory along with his wife Angie, who works at Kelsey Trail Health Region, and two kids Auystn and Cache live on the farm south Waldner Land & Cattle east of Tisdale. Jesse Waldner Back Country Speckle Park Ranch Site 2 Box 10 RR 1 — Bruce and Cory Bruce and Deb Schapansky Box 2107, Tisdale, SK S0E 1T0 Swift Current, SK S9H 3X7 Cory, Angie, Auystn and Cache Schapansky Bruce: 306-873-7319 • Cory: 306-873-7519 P: 306-741-4609 E: [email protected] • W: www.schapansky.com E: [email protected] FROM THE DESK AT T Bar... Welcome to the Supreme Speckle Park Bull and Female Sale, Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Notta Ranch headquarters, Neilburg, Saskatchewan. Since the Speckle Park breed’s early beginnings, Jason and Sara at Notta Ranch and John and Dale from Spots ‘N Sprouts have been founders and “breed leaders!” In this the 2021 edition, they welcome two new guest consignors… Jesse Waldner, Waldner Land & Cattle and Back Country Ranch, the Schapansky Family. Although Back Country are relatively new to the breed, Bruce is not a rookie to the livestock industry being a successful auctioneer for over three decades. The Supreme Speckle Park Bull Sale offers the largest lineup of two-year-old bulls both in number and quality. These bulls are grass run throughout the summer then brought in the fall and placed on a high roughage ration preparing them for the sale. The bulls are sound footed, well-muscled and ideal to cover more cows, bigger cows on any type of terrain. Born unassisted, they offer the calving ease factor without giving up performance. The yearling bulls in the offering have been selected from the top of the crop. Rugged with muscle and volume, lots of hair, style and offer the newest, freshest genetics in the breed. Several offer that competitive edge… something which is not new at Notta Ranch. Chris Poley The heifers selling are exciting and full of opportunity. Whether you are looking at females due to calve, or the open heifers for your replacement pastures, selection is diverse both in phenotype and genotype. Whether you are an established Speckle Park breeder or a newcomer to the breed, do not overlook this lineup of females… good females are hard to 306-220-5006 find, and the past has shown us the ROI (return on investment) of this great breed. The semen and embryos offer new genetic packages to enhance all programs. The demand for Speckle Park influence has increased from ripples to waves worldwide. Though one of the main credentials offered is the great carcass quality of Speckle influence cattle let us not overlook their calving ease, fleshing ability, feed conversion and optimal cow size. Plan to stop by any of these progressive breeders any time prior the sale to select your seedstock requirements whether you are looking for bulls, females, semen, or embryos… feel free to give Jason, John, Bruce, or Jessie a call to discuss their offering and which animals will fulfil your needs. Plan to be with us for another chapter in the history of Speckle Park in person or online… it will be well worth the trip. If we may be of assistance, prior to or sale day, feel free to contact any of the T Bar team or myself, we will help you in a professional manner.
