The mount point is a directory in the local filesystem where you can access mounted filesystem. This directory must exist before you can mount a filesystem. These storage devices use a standard block interface, compatible with traditional filesystems, but constraints are not those of desktop PC environments. EXT2/3/4, BTRFS, F2FS are the first of many solutions which come to mind, but how do they all compare? Typical queries include performance, longevity, tools availability, support, and power loss robustness.
