DEAR FAMILIES & RIDERS, NATURE , SPORT AND CYCLING FANS, KKL-JNF AND HOT EPIC ISRAEL POWERED BY TREK INVITES YOU TO FOLLOW THE RACE FROM CLOSE UP.

You are invited to come and see your loved ones, cheer and support them be part of it and feel the excitement with them. You can follow the race from the minutes before the start, through the spectator points which will be detailed below throughout the course, until the exciting finish of every day in the race village.

One of Hot Epic Israel goals with the cooperation of KKL-JNF is to promote the culture of sport combined with nature. You can support the race from minutes before the start line, through points on the way that will be detailed below, until the anxious finish of each stage in the race village in Kibbutz Dalia. We promise you a delightful experience which will make you part of an exciting race, including a trip to the beautiful landscapes throughout the route.

KKL-JNF invests huge resources in promoting and developing bicycle routes, turning KKL-JNF forests to heaven for mountain biking and exploiting Israeli nature to its best. A fun Families' Happening will take place on Saturday the 10/10 - 09:00-13:00 in the center of the race village. The Families Happening includes juggling, Inflatable's, Arts and crafts and a warm welcome to the finishers of the challenge. The closing ceremony will take place at 12:00

For your convenience, we present details of the points of interest with estimated times at which the riders will pass each point - based on average riding speed:

2nd viewpoint – Hafik st. Binyamina, arrival of the riders – 08:40-10:10 North of the point there is a convenient and recommended parking on a tarred pathway. From there you can easily see the fast groups of riders. At this point the riders have passed 46 KM, half of them are in the Horshan reserve and the other half on the fast gravel roads, where group work has a big advantage.

Directions from the race village: From the race village to Elyakim junction go south on road no.70 (do not go on road no. 6) In Shfeya Junction you must turn left on to road no. 652 until the 1st roundabout in Binyamina where you turn left into Jubotinsky St., left on Hagoren st., left at the T junction to Sheshet Hayamim St. and right to Hafik St.

3rd viewpoint – 2 Hashmura st. Zichron Yaakov – lovely shaded garden just below TLAT-O-FUN bicycle shop, arrival of riders 09:45-12:10

This point is where the riders have finished all the flat parts of the day and started their way back to the race village. At this point you can already see the final position of the riders for the day, excluding dramatic changes. (We remind you that no outside assistance is allowed! A team that will get assistance won't count as a finisher)

Directions to the 3rd view point: From the 2nd view point you must go back to the main road of Binyamina (no.652), drive north towards Zichron Yaakov, at the 2nd roundabout in Zichron Yaakov at the top

of the uphill slope you should turn left into Aharon Way and then left on Hacovshim St. until the end of the road.

2nd Viewpoint – Muchraka Feed Zone, arrival of the riders 07:40-08:30 This point is 28.7 KM from the start, the riders have already climbed to the Scenic route of the Carmel twice. This point is located under the Muchraka monastery which is located at the north east part of Mount Carmel and overlooks the Jezreel Valley. It is 400 m above sea level and apart from seeing the terrific riders the view from that point is spectacular.This point is the 1st Feed Zone of the day (We remind you that no outside assistance is allowed). Please note: Do not pass the track of the race with your car. Please park before the junction and walk a little bit to the viewpoint which is also the 1st Feed Zone.

Directions to the 2nd viewpoint : From the race village drive to Elyakim Junction and continue west towards the Carmel on road no. 672, a lovely winding road, until you arrive at the entrance to Dalit El Camel. At the 2nd roundabout turn right until you see a T Junction where you will turn right with the road until the connection with the scenic route of the Carmel.

3rd viewpoint – Hagam Parking area, arrival of riders 09:30 – 11:25 The riders have already passed a tough and challenging 69.2 KM, on the toughest stage of this year's HOT Epic Israel. Hagam Parking area is spacious, green, full of old olive trees, perfect for the Picnic lovers and gives a great feeling of Israeli nature. This viewpoint is located before the significant uphill of the day. Here the riders need lots of support and cheering.

Directions to the 3rd viewpoint: You will leave from the Muchraka to the main road of Dalit El Carmel (652) and continue towards Osafya until Damon Junction where you turn left to road no. 721 towards Kibbutz Beit Oren. In the middle of the downhill after the kibbutz the road has a sharp turn right but you should continue straight towards Hagam Parking area.

The last viewpoint for the day is the finish line of the toughest day of HOT Epic Israel this year. The first riders are expected to arrive after 5 hours from the start, at approximately 11:00 am.

The 3rd stage includes a visit to KKL-JNF forests in the area of Mishmar Haemek – Ein Hashofet and the agricultural areas in the Yizra'el Valley.

The route will take the riders to one of many of the important projects of KKL-JNF. KKL- JNF donates generously towards the improvement and development of cycling in Israel. You can find more details on the eyarok website - www.eyarok.org.il

2nd viewpoint – the south east point of Hazorea forest – 08:30-09:50 This point is after 46.7 KM from the start, here you can see all the riders of the day including the children, the one day marathon riders and the heroes that are before the end of the 3rd day of HOT Epic Israel 2015.

Directions to point no.2: From the race village you should turn right towards Ein Hashofet, continue down until road no. 66. At the T junction you must turn left and again take the first left to the entrance of Hazorea forest. On entering the park turn left and continue until the end of the road where you will meet the riders.

A reminder – every day from 20:30 you are requested to leave the race village and let the riders rest in order to fully recover for the next day. We will be very happy to see you applaud and support the riders in this unique race which is an amazing sporting experience and one of the prides of Israel.
