HIGH-PERFORMANCE VISUAL SIGNAL LIGHTS PEL-3 & PEL-6 PEL-3 & PEL-6 Up to 6NM by day & 24NM by night at 0.74 T PRECISION Horizontal divergence from 3.5° to 20° A PEL Sector Light displays a different colour when viewed from different angles at sea. Very sharp colour boundaries – a complete colour change typically occurs within 1 minute of arc. With optional oscillating boundary, the signal alternates between two colours in proportion to the distance across the sector. This provides visual information to where you are in the sector. PEL Sector Lights indicate the precise vessel position in confi ned waterways. They are used in situations where extreme accuracy is required, or where only a single station is possible for a lead light. Each light is custom-confi gured for its site. Range up to 6NM by day and 24NM by night from a PEL-6; horizontal divergence from 3.5° to 20°. VRB-25 PEL-6 is designed primarily for day and night use, and PEL-3 for night use. 6 or 8 Panels Lighthouse Up to 22NM at 0.74T VRB-25 MARINE ROTATING BEACON The VRB-25 provides a range of up to 22NM with a 100W halogen lamp in a six place lampchanger. It was designed to meet a United States Coast Guard specifi cation for an accurate and reliable rotating beacon. More than 600 of these are in service around the world, with over 300 in North America. The three key reasons for the success of this rotating beacon are the precision optics, the reliable rotating mechanism and the low power required for rotation. This beacon Vega TVIR can operate in remote unattended sites with maintenance no more than once a year. No weather protection is required. The VRB-25 optical panels were designed and manufactured by Vega to maximise the light intensity. VEGA LED PRODUCTS Vega LED lights are a family of products sharing common features and functionality. Programmable features include: • Automatic Schmidt-Clausen intensity • Programmable flash characters plus correction to maintain the effective intensity one custom character for shorter flashes. IRDA Prog-01 • Normal, sleep, transport and test modes • Multiple effective intensity settings • Programmable battery low voltage • Synchronization control including cut out level master/slave and sync delay • Multiple day/night transition options • Optional security codes • Separate day and night intensity settings

Setup of the LED products is done using an infra red (TVIR) programmer. Newer products have bidirectional IRDA allowing setup to be done using a computer. All products have wire synchronization either as standard or as a factory option on self contained beacons. The sync wire allows the synchronization of the fl ash character and the day/night transition. All products are available in red, green, white, yellow, and blue. VSL-46 0.8NM to 12NM at 0.74T VLS-46 5° or 10° horizontal angle LED SECTOR PROJECTOR This high-resolution sector light is powered by LEDs, and uses a separate projector for each colour. Two models are available with a horizontal beam angle of 5° or 10°. The beam angle inside each projector is user-adjustable in the horizontal plane from 100% to 10% of the maximum beam angle. Base plate allows for accurate adjustment of the projectors so that colour boundaries are correctly aligned. Typical boundary resolution of 3 minutes of arc. Optional internal GPS synchronisation.
