ORDER In the circumstances as proposed by the Director of General Education, Higher Secondary Education in the letter read above and in pursuance of the Select List notified by Government as per Government Order read Ist paper above, Government are pleased to promote 61 Higher Secondary School Teachers to the cadre of Principal as detailed in Annexure I to this Government Order and to appoint 30 Headmasters/AEO under by-transfer to the cadre of Principals as detailed in Annexure II to this Government Order in Government Higher Secondary Schools in the scale of Pay of Rs. 45,800 – 89,000/- on regular basis, in the existing vacancies and posted as such in the schools noted against each. 2. These films actualize region as a cinematic imaginary through its authenticity markers – caste/ist practices explicitly, which earlier films constructed as a ‘trope’. The paper uses the concept of Heterotopias to analyse the recurrence of spectacle spaces in the construction of Madurai, and the production of caste in contemporary films. In this pursuit, it interrogates the implications of such spatial discourses.
