SOMMELIER RECOMMENDATION Our Team of Sommeliers Are More Than Happy to Share Their Most Recent Discoveries in the World of Wines SOMMELIER RECOMMENDATION Our team of sommeliers are more than happy to share their most recent discoveries in the world of wines. ROSE CHAMPAGNE - NO TIME TO…WAIT! NV Bollinger Rosé, Brut, Aÿ In anticipation of the upcoming James Bond movie, we couldn't resist highlighting the superb quality of his favourite Champagne house - but with a pink twist. None of the well-known power has been taken away yet beautifully enhanced by the addition of a small percentage of still Pinot Noir red wine. If you are itching as much as we do to see the new movie treat yourself with a glass to shorten the waiting time. For Queen and country… Glass (125ml) £ 31,00 Bottle (750ml) £ 155,00 WHITE - NORTHERN FRESHNESS 2016 Favorita 'Marine', Vigne Marina Coppi, Piedmont, Italy Francesco Bellocchio took over vineyard land his grandfather, Fausto Coppi, had owned in the region of Piedmont. He is driven to make the very best wines from local varieties, named after Fausto’s daughter and Francesco’s mother. Medium body, with tree fruit notes and orchard fruit with a touch of minerality. Enjoy a glass with our Salamagundy or the Pork Chop. Glass (125ml) £ 17,00 Bottle (750ml) £ 85,00 RED - FRESHNESS FROM THE DESERT 2015 Syrah 'Tara', Ventisquero, Atacama, Chile “The New World Winery” as nominated by the Wine Enthusiast Magazine, was established by Gonzalo Vial The Modernity, Avant-garde techniques and the focus on high-quality has made this establishment a cult winery in Chile Black fruits, herbs, graphite and leather are the main notes. Highly complex this wine will match incredibly well with our Duck. Glass (125ml) £23,00 Bottle (750ml) £ 115,00 RED - MODERNISM AND LOVE 2014 Rioja 'Dalmau', Marques de Murrieta, Spain Dalmau is the happy marriage of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Graciano, these varieties are separately vinified with different choices in the winery to obtain the absolute highest expression from each. After a 21 months "honeymoon" in French oak this intense and balanced trio is finally ready to be served. Have a glass with our Ribeye and as for us, it will be love at first sip. Glass (125ml) £ 35,00 Bottle (750ml) £ 185,00 SWEET - THE CHARM OF CHENIN BLANC ! 2010 Coteaux de l'Aubance, 'Grandpierre', Domaine du Bablut, Loire Valley, France Domaine de Bablut has been producing wine since 1546 in the Aubance, an area directly south of Angers. The estate is committed to making sweet wines from Chenin Blanc grapes, that are scrupulously select from pure botrytis grapes. The wine shows detectable flavours of honey, lemon zest and yuzu followed by notes of toast and caramel. A charming and delightful pairing with our Tipsy Cake. Glass (125ml) £21,00 Bottle (750ml) £ 109,00 - 1 - - 2 - CONTENTS The discovery of a wine is of greater moment than the discovery of a constellation. The universe is too full of stars. guide to AustriAn Wines AUSTRIAN WINE WITH ASIAN CUISINES Discover EuRope’S Best Kept Secret! Austria is home to some of the most famous musicians in the world: Mozart, Schubert, Strauss, Liszt and others. It also offers a rich cultural heritage, the Imperial Palace in Vienna, palaces and castles around the country – all situated in one of the cleanest environments that also has the clearest waters, right in the centre of Europe. Welcome to Austria! We would like to invite you to Austria, enjoy our culture and relax in the city or in the mountains. Austria can offer so much. We are especially proud of our wine industry, which has more than a few thousand years of history. Today, it is also one of the most dynamic wine industries in the world. Situated at the same latitude as Burgundy in France (47-48°north) we are able to produce one of the finest white and most elegant red wines of the world. Besides international grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and more… we are also extremely proud of our own indigenous varieties – Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Rotgipfler, Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Blaufränkisch. Due to our climate and the varieties, our wines are amazing food companions with many dishes. This includes classical European cuisine as well as most of the Asian dishes, whether from China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia or other countries in the region. Many restaurants in Singapore have discovered these unique wines and have introduced a good range of our national treasures in their wine lists.

Introduction: The first Crusade, a massive and unprecedented undertaking in the western world, differed from the majority of subsequent crusades into the Holy Land in an important way: it contained no royalty and was undertaken with very little direct support from the ruling families of Western Europe. This aspect of the crusade led to the development of sophisticated hierarchies and vassalages among the knights who led the crusade. These relationships culminated in the formation of the Crusader States, Latin outposts in the Levant surrounded by Muslim states, and populated primarily by non-Catholic or non-Christian peoples. Despite the difficulties engendered by this situation, the Crusader States managed to maintain control over the Holy Land for much of the twelfth century, and, to a lesser degree, for several decades after the Fall of Jerusalem in 1187 to Saladin.

  • Publication of a Communication of Approval of a Standard Amendment to a Product Specification for a Name in the Wine Sector Refe
10.2.2020 EN Offi cial Jour nal of the European Union C 44/15 Publication of a communication of approval of a standard amendment to a product specification for a name in the wine sector referred to in Article 17(2) and (3) of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/33. (2020/C 44/07) This communication is published in accordance with Article 17(5) of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/33 (1). COMMUNICATING THE APPROVAL OF A STANDARD AMENDMENT ‘Coteaux de Saumur’ PDO-FR-A0179-AM01 Date of communication: 13 November 2019 DESCRIPTION OF AND REASONS FOR THE APPROVED AMENDMENT 1. Geographical area The passage concerning the geographical area now reads as follows: All stages of production must take place in the geographical area, which spans the territories of the following municipalities, based on the 2018
