MISSIONARY MOMENTS The Final Test By Sam Butler

was on my mission for a year when I I felt impressed to extend my ser- vice as a missionary. My original leave date was mid-December, and my service would be extended to early February. I realised that this would mean another Christmas without my family, but it was a small sacrifice that I felt I could make. Three months before my original leave date I received news from my brother announcing that he would be receiving a new addition to his family: a beautiful baby girl. The due date was the 30th of December. Soon after I received this news I was asked to confirm my decision to extend.
