Kala Quintana Appointed as Interim Public lnformation Officer (PIO) for NVTA Christopher Zimmerman (Arlington), Chairman of the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA), has appointed Kala Quintana as the interim Public Information Officer (PIO) for the Authority. The interim PI0 will work closely with regional PlO's and transportation communication professionals to coordinate the Authority's communication and outreach efforts. Ms. Quintana is the staff coordinator for the NVTA1sPublic Outreach Working group and has been working closely with the PlO's and transportation communication specialists representing all of the Authority's member jurisdictions. Ms. Quintana will serve as the point of contact to arrange and coordinate interviews with NVTA members, provide information about the Authority and its upcoming actions and activities, and coordinate information and content for the Authority's new web site (coming soon!).
