With an estimated 100 million attempt to cash in on the popularity of Baby Yoda, people watching the Superbowl every year, and it certainly didn’t help that social media corporations are sure to put enormous amounts of accounts and merchandise for the new mascot money and effort into their 30 seconds of spotlight.

    2019-09-10 18:00 CEST Green Day till Tele2 Arena 29 maj! Green Day kommer tillbaka till Sverige i vår med nya albumet ”Father of all” i bagaget (release 7 februari 2020). Senast trion spelade i Sverige var 2017, då inför ett utsålt Ericsson Globe. Den 29 maj 2020 återvänder alltså Green Day till Stockholm och Tele2 Arena, biljetterna släpps fredagen den 20 september kl. 10.00. Green Day slog igenom med ”Dookie” 1994 och gick snabbt från att vara ett källarband till att sälja tio miljoner album. 20 år och 70 miljoner sålda album senare är de minst lika aktuella med flera Grammy-vinnande plattor i bagaget, en egen musikal i deras ära samt många och långa världsturnéer på meritlistan. 2015 blev de dessutom invalda i Rock & Roll Music Hall of Fame. 2016 släppte Green Day ”Revolution Radio”, sitt tolfte studioalbum, och året därefter besökte bandet Sverige för tre spelningar, varav en utsåld kväll i Ericsson Globe i Stockholm. Den 7 februari nästa år släpps bandets trettonde studioalbum ”Father of all”. Med den i bagaget åker Green Day ut på en egne turné runt om i världen som stannar till i Sverige och Tele2 Arena den 29 maj. Därefter fortsätter bandet vidare ut i Europa och USA på ”Hella Mega Tour”.
