A Naval Architect with a Masters Degree in Offshore Engineering, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, he initially gained project experience with major contracting organisations such as Brown and Root and John Brown, before joining FPSO contractor Navion in Norway during the late 90’s as Commercial VP. Following the sale of Navion’s FPSO business, Duncan returned to the UK to found Crondall Energy, and has lead the growth of the Company from start-up to its current position as a market leading multi- discipline floater consultancy. Duncan is an acknowledged global expert in the FPSO market, and continues to combine his leadership role with strategic consulting activities with major oil companies, contractors and banks. Dave Hartell, Senior Development Manager, Sea Lion Premier Oil Dave has more than thirty-nine (39) years of onshore and offshore oil and gas developments experience including facilities engineering, construction, installation, project management, and production operations. His developments experience has ranged from onshore remote locations to offshore deepwater locations. He has more than twenty-nine (29) years of international experience working with national energy companies, energy ministries, and governmental regulators. He has been responsible for managing subsurface asset, drilling and completion, and production operations teams. Mr. Hartell has presented papers at international conferences in Brazil, U.K., United States, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Korea. Dave received his Bachelor of Science and Masters in Civil Engineering degrees from Rice University in Houston, Texas. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Puneet Sharma, Vice President, Atlantic FPSO Project Development Group MODEC Puneet currently holds the position of Vice President at MODEC INTERNATIONAL and manages MODEC’s Atlantic FPSO Project Development Group in Houston which includes engineering, procurement, project controls and operations support. Prior to this, Puneet ran his own consultancy IRIS LLC, as well as directed Topsides Conceptual Designs and FEEDs at Berwanger. Puneet has also managed an oil and gas process technology department at Foster Wheeler. With over 25 years in the business, Puneet has held various roles in management, engineering and business developments for projects ranging from $10 million to $1.8 billion. Puneet’s unique working background across almost all phases of oil and gas projects for both EPC contractors and vessel operators on almost every continent and climate has given him extensive project management experience. He is working on the next generation of production solutions for the world’s largest floating production systems. Jerry is a graduate of Chemical Engineering, from Loughborough University in the UK, and a Chartered Engineer. He has been working at SBM Offshore for the last 13 years, and has been based in Kuala Lumpur since 2010. Jeffrey A. Sim, Chief Technical Officer Yinson Production Jeff has spent the early days of his career with engineering contractors designing drilling rigs for various environments around the world including ice platforms, Hercules transportable rigs, helicopter transportable rigs, fifth generation semisubmersible drilling rigs and fixed platform rigs for the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. After a number of years working for a few companies on both sides of the Atlantic, Jeff moved to Singapore with one of the leading FPSO contractors. Twelve years and more than 10 FPSO projects later, Jeff joined Yinson Production as Chief Technical Officer responsible for all tendering, engineering and project execution. Olsen Production ASA, where Eirik had been the CEO since January 2012, by the Yinson Group. Eirik has worked in the offshore oil industry since 1999, having previously held the positions of CEO of Songa Floating Production and VP, Business Development of BW Offshore. Eirik started his career with Schlumberger Oilfield Services working as a Field Engineer before moving on to work for Aker Kvaerner Process Systems. Eirik holds a Master of Engineering degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway and a Master in Energy Management from ESCP/IFP in Paris and BI in Oslo. Chris Brett, Vice President, Legal Teekay Petrojarl AS Chris has a mix of legal, commercial and management experience developed with leading companies such as Origin Energy, Shell, Maersk Contractors and since 2011 as Vice President of Legal in Teekay Petrojarl. Chris’ FPSO experience began with Maersk Contractors as a senior projects lawyer and then as Chief Commercial Officer with exposure to a number of exciting projects in the North Sea, Brazil, Australia and West Africa. Chris heads up Teekay Petrojarl’s legal team but continues to be involved in the negotiation of new contracts and disputes as well as being a director in Teekay Petrojarl’s joint venture company with Odebrecht Oil & Gas of Brazil. Chris has a law degree from the Australian National University and executive management training from IMD and Harvard Business School. He joined Bumi Armada in October 2006 and has over 25 years of experience, predominantly in the O&G industry. He started his career in capital equipment manufacturing, with roles in engineering and sales of large rotating equipment to the major oil companies. He then progressed through various project engineering, asset consulting, project management and project development roles with Fluor Corporation, Melbourne, Australia and Clough Engineering Ltd, Perth, Australia. He was appointed as the Project Director of the OMV Maari project with Clough Engineering Ltd prior to joining Bumi Armada.
