Fully furnished apt. available for rent from July 1 2019 – June 30, 2021 Beautiful, central Bauhaus-style 4 room (107qm) apartment at Tiergarten park with large balcony, shared yard and rooftop terrace -- 1950 EUR incl. utilities (or make us an offer) -- We love living in our beautiful apartment, an architectural monument with lots of natural light located in a quiet street directly next to Berlin’s central Tiergarten park. Our apartment building was built for the “city of tomorrow” by Pierre Vago, for the 1957 Interbau (International Architectural Exhibition). -- all utilities and wifi included (you pay for telephone costs)— The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 office (currently a children's bedroom with loft bed, the latter which we plan to remove), 1 living/dining room, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom – well-suited for a couple or family. A large loggia/covered balcony (8 square meters) equipped with wooden garden furniture and accessible from the living room provides a great spot for outdoor working or dining. From there you can also catch a glimpse of Berlin’s TV Tower (Fernsehturm) and the Victory Column (Siegessäule) through the tree tops. The German 3rd floor (American 4th floor) apartment is on two levels. The master bedroom is on the lower level with a breathtaking 4m high ceiling and one wall made up of almost only windows. The apartment was renovated in 2016. More pictures are available upon request. We enjoyed picnicking in the yard or having a cocktail on the rooftop terrace, both areas shared with our neighbors. From the roof, you have a view of many Berlin landmarks. We are just a few minutes’ walk from Moabit with its market hall from 1891 filled with small shops and restaurants and only 8 minutes from the well-known shopping street Kurfürstendamm.
