DR. KIRAN BEDI -a woman who believes that the best moment is 'NOW'

A woman who is an inspiration to me and to millions. A Woman who is as brave as a lion,as stiff as a board,as strong as a diamond. The first woman IPS officer,

The first Indian and first woman to be appointed as head of the Police and Police advisor In the United Nations Department of peace operations.she was an outstanding student, no doubt, but she was also a great civil servant.

Since young, her efforts were diverted towards uplifting the society.she became the first woman to lead the all-male contingent of the Police at the

Republic Day Parade in 1975.Kiran Bedi is a key member of the Against Corruption movement. She condemns corruption and her efforts to get the government to enact a strong Bill paid off when the Parliament passed a resolution to consider three points in the drafting of the Lokpal Bill.

Even though she was arrested for her anti-corruption protests, she never gave up. This is something that we can learn from Kiran Bedi. We should follow the mantra, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going" Kiran Bedi did not give up when the government was against her; she stood by her principles and rose in her career and education. Kiran Bedi is not just a role model for women, but she is a role model for men too.

Kiran Bedi, the 'Iron Lady' has single-handedly changed the face of the Indian police force.
