AGGELER AWARD Established in memory of William Tell Aggeler, Judge of the Superior Court of California and professor in the School of Law. It is awarded annually for "superior scholarship and noteworthy achievement" to the member of the graduating class who has the highest final cumulative average. The Aggeler Award is awarded to: ROBERT J. BELL J. REX DIBBLE HONOR AWARD Established by the Faculty of the Law School in 1964 as the Faculty Honor Award. It consists of a plaque and cash award, and is given to the student with the highest grades at the beginning of the last year's work. The J. Rex Dibble Award is awarded to: ROBERT J. BELL LOYOLA LAW SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AWARD Established by the Alumni of the School of Law as an annual award to a member of the graduating class, this award is made on the basis of service to the Law School, including such factors as activity in student organizations and affairs, scholastic achievement, personal integrity and high moral character. The Bancroft-Whitney Awards are awarded to: ROBERT STEPHEN MUSA EDWARD STRONG MERRILL, III WEST PUBLISHING COMPANY AWARDS Established by West Publishing Company, law publishers of St. Paul, Minnesota, one set of Dean Roscoe Pound's five volume Treatise on Jurisprudence is awarded to the student who submits the most outstanding written brief in the Scott Competition. The West Publishing Company Awards are awarded to: RICHARD GEBO MORRIS PATRICIA STEARNS JERALYN SCHUSTERMAN KELLER BUREAU OF NATIONAL AFFAIRS LAW WEEK AWARD Established by the Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. this award consists of a year's complimentary subscription to U.S. Law Week, and is awarded to the graduating student judged by the faculty to have made the most satisfactory scholastic progress in his or her final year. The Bureau of National Affairs Law Week Award is awarded to: RICHARD GEBO MORRIS AMERICAN BOARD OF TRIAL ADVOCATES Annually presents a cash award for excellence in preparation for trial practice. The American Board of Trial Advocates Award is Awarded to: JAMES A. PRUDHOMME, JR. INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF TRIAL LAWYERS Annually presents a plaque for excellence in preparation for trial practice.
