Christopher Maurice Brown (Chris Brown), was born on May 5, 1989 in Tappahannock,

Virginia. “He is known as an Grammy-Award winning R&B singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor.”(https://www.biography.com/people/chris-brown-) A&E Television Networks) When he was younger he would sing in his church choir and several talent shows in his city. To make his career bigger and better he started acting in small roles in movies and tv shows starting to become more of an entrepreneur. Chris started singing at a young age and became something big, even having his own movie about him and his life. He makes many genres of music but mostly R&B. “In 2004, Chris signed with and released his self-titled debut studio album the next year. The album topped at number two on the US Billboard 200 and was later guaranteed platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, offering a general three million duplicates around the world.” Chris had gotten two Grammy Award nominations, for

Best New Artist and Best R&B Contemporary Album later that year. Chris has been an artist for a long time and has come a long way since 2004 to now. On Youtube he posted a two minute video on his account apologizing to Rihanna and his fans for what had happened. While many of Chris Brown’s fans were let down by his apparent actions toward Rihanna, some stuck by him. He kept making music releasing his new albums F.A.M.E. (2011) and (2012).

His album after X, is Royalty which was released in 2015 and was dedicated to his daughter. He has then switched his life around still is a popular artist around the world today.
