APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS DOES PAY OFF ! My daughter, Brittney McKinney, graduated from Morgan Park HS 2006, captain of the girls bowling team for 2 yrs, Saturday league with Al Carrington Pilgrims Junior Bowlers, Won TNBA Owen Scholarship in 2006 for $1500 and in 2007 year won an addi- tional $500 donated from Battle of the Sex Scholarship thru the TNBA. She is a sophomore at Alabama State University. She was awarded a bowling scholarship which is also paying for her education. Brittney maintains a 3.0 GPA. She is the new Capt of the girls team @Alabama State University. Bowling does pay with hard work and dedication and I want to inspire the kids to keep their grades up and maintain their dedication to the game. Brittney is a true achiever.

Former Chicago Bowling Senate Junior Bowler in Car Accident In January, LaTeona Boyce was returning to school from the Holiday Break and was involved in a serious car accident. By the Grace of God, she is at home and doing well. LaTeona was a member of the Dolton Bowl “Full Throttle” and BZ- Homewood’s Junior bowling programs. She graduated from Morgan Park High School and is currently a member of Grambling State’s Lady Tigers Women's Bowling Team. She will return to school for the Summer term and to bowling when the season starts again in the Fall of 2008.
